  1. i think you are onto something with the second half of your statement. i want to see hackett get all kinds of creative with this explosive line up. git r done!
  2. it is possible the price to wrestle evans away from tampa would have been higher. it is also possible the bills with sammy are going to break the @#$% out this year and that 2015 1st round pick is going to be worth a flaming bag of dog @#$%. just try to think positively!
  3. love this move. i am really happy about the bills keeping the rest of their draft this year. going into next year, i know i don't have a number 1, so i am cool with that. just go get us some players to go with him the next couple days.
  4. if this is not the mudvayne or bobby mcfarrin song, then i know not one of these.
  5. while the doctors are fixing his stuff, would it be too much to ask that they remove his ability to procreate? this is just a special kind of stupid that i think we have enough of already.
  6. if this is what it looks like it is...this guy needs to wear a helmet OFF the field.
  7. as roger goodell walks out to the podium to open things up...he gets rick rolled!
  8. and unless there is an absolute stud that fell to 9, i think that could be a great trade if the 'boys are willing to give up at least a second.
  9. well, i live in salamanca but i am not sal. so while not the culprit, does that make me guilty by location?
  10. just wait until after the draft when they are all fuming mad calling whoever we draft junk and how we should have drafted manziel...good times, they are a comin'!
  11. i think this could cause me to drink and swear at loud volumes for good reasons.
  12. i actually told a guy today that i don't care what the bills do in the first as long as they take this guy in the second. i don't know what would be worse, watching him get drafted by another team or getting what i want and finding out he is not nearly as good as i have built him up to be in my mind.
  13. wow, i guess we differ in opinion quite a bit. while jeremy white can get quite animated on his opinion, i really like him. he is definitely one of my favorite wgr personalities and often times i agree with his line of thinking. he seems to blend analytical facts and strong opinions together to make a compelling argument more often than not. he also goes off the deep end from time to time which i also appreciate. i miss his screaming matches with sully.
  14. they seem to enjoy conversations and debates rather than hit that stat sheets hard. and i have no problem with that. they have four hours every day to try to entertain their audience, and i think they are good at what they do. do i agree with everything they say? absolutely not. but most times they are more than willing to hear peoples opinions and have a back and forth....however there are some callers that seem to have single digit IQs that can set them off. bulldog has a tendancy to go off on a rant and sometimes schopp can come off as a bit condescending, but overall i like them a lot. i enjoy joe b's insights, he is well informed and does express his own bias on players when he has a strong feeling about them. but understand that while you may tune in from time to time, these guys do this all week long and the a lot of the same callers call in with a lot of the same opinions and it can feel quite stale. i think these guys want the draft to get here even more than we do. they host a talk show. their job is to talk about possibilities and get people to listen and maybe even join in on conversations. and the "what if" scenario is the current topic. everyone can way in on how sammy watkins or mike evans might change this team going forward. not many average fans know much about the third round inside linebacker we could possibly take to round out the roster.
  15. i am never opposed to a cb in the mid rounds, for depth and special teams. i am always opposed to taking cbs with high first round picks, even if they are great players, there is just something about first round dbs i despise.
  16. regardless of what the bills do in round one, this is the guy i want in the second. that is why i want no part of a trade up. and i am feeling a bit greedy, so i would love to see a trade down where they can get niklas and "player x" in the second.
  17. i have no idea about this guy really. i have heard he is really raw and has not played much football. is it possible that barr could be had in a trade down scenario? something about more picks just really appeals to me. especially if they want to swing on a player that has more upside than developed skill.
  18. i actually like joe b's latest draft of zack martin followed by te troy niklas. in a trade down scenario i think i would try to grab the best mauler of an ot, niklas (like the size, attitude and potential) and best de, wr, lb, or db available in the first couple rounds. i like the versatility, ability and character of martin, sounds like he is a great teammate. but i feel very confident in whaley and his staff to identify talent, so more picks can't be a bad think.
  19. when i saw the first (reboot) spider man movie, i enjoyed it but i kept on thinking to myself "this movie did not have to be made". it just ddn;t vary enough from the tobey mcguire spider man for me, it had much the same feel to it and it seemed too soon. i would have liked it more had i not seen (and enjoyed) the earlier incarnations of spidey. anyway, i will have to watch the new movie, but i do have my reservations, and can't help but feel that this new series just doesn't need to be made.
  20. if he can provide depth, and maybe push some people, that would be great. if he can become a "core special teamer", that would be fantastic.
  21. this is far from an exact science. these guys all collect data, probably from a lot of the same places, process the data, and give their opinions about it. some come of a little more convincing, some a little more arrogant, but it's all in the name of entertainment. and the fact that a lot of people have opinions about their opinions means they are good at their jobs.
  22. i definitely understand the value of that kind of versatility, but i just can't help but want to see the bills draft some kind of offensive playmaker. if he is the pick i will be behind him, and the bills, 100%. but i would have to allow myself a small window to be somewhere between disappointed and furious for at least a little while. i know the draft is more than just the first round pick, but we've been waiting for this for what seems like an eternity.
