  1. i thought the refs played a huge role in this game. i will not say that they won or lost it for anyone, but they definitely seemed to have picked their side. so i would say they can chew on a sweaty jock strap.
  2. 2-1 sounds just fine. problem is, i watched the game. it felt just like last week, only we were the dolphins. i am normally a delusional optimist. but right now i want to go kick a puppy. it will pass, but i was hoping for a much better showing than this.
  3. this is no contest. it's ej. there is no hesitation.
  4. let freedom ring with a shotgun blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast! from davidian by machine head
  5. i feel left out. my area of ex-nerd-tise is more comic book characters. while i do love me some sci-fi, i am just not qualified to make an argument in regards to the legitimate specks of serenity. though i do have to say that i am STILL pissed about the premature cancellation!
  6. these examples, combined with this young man's character, leadership, charisma, and work ethic have me very optimistic for his, and the team's future.
  7. i am wondering if kujo and richardson could eventually slot in at the two guard spots and solidify a young, talented line. i may be dreaming here, but hey, that's what i do.
  8. was urbik successful under a different blocking scheme than what they are using now? has he just regressed? or were his deficiencies masked better under a different scheme/regime? i have no idea. but i thought at one point in time he was one of our better and more dependable linemen.
  9. it all depends i guess. i would think that coach d was a heck of an o-line coach and was responsible for teaching the blocking concepts desired by the oc. so i think he could have done a fine job. having said that, i could be very, very wrong.
  10. this is exactly right, imo. i know people don't like the "if i did that at my job" comparisons, but seriously, shouldn't some of these offenses be treated as what they really are? and shouldn't the consequences for violent crimes, especially against women and children, be met with a bit more severity?
  11. just got my tickets for this game, so i am really, really hoping you are wrong.
  12. sacks, hits and hurries are a wonderful thing. but if this defense doesn't generate quite as much pressure on the qb, but shuts down the run game and has good coverage and continues with the solid tackling and the occasional punishing hit, i am good with that.
  13. in all honesty, i think it may be a pretty tall task for anyone to come into the ralph and beat this team. i know they probably won't win them all, but they just seem like a team with a bit of a different make up than what we have seen in the past. and we better not lose to the jets at home!
  14. i'm going to say that henderson looks like he is coming along pretty well. i am also going to give a lot of credit to the other offensive linemen for chipping in, hackett for good play designs and the o-line coach as well. they are coming up with some pretty good protection schemes to keep the qb upright and everyone seems to be doing their part.
  15. "you got nothin'!...wow...you really got nothin'."
  16. well, if we have to settle for a few of the latter...i guess i could live with that.
  17. why you sonofa...oh, sorry. didn't see the [\S] carry on.
  18. i am really looking forward to this game. i think the players are going to be motivated and eager to show what they can do. i think that the team wants to make a statement and show the world that they are for real. and i think that the fans are ready to billieve and will be amazing once again, resurrecting the old standard that buffalo is going to be one of the hardest places to come and play!
  19. i think it will definitely come. the bills are sandbagging big time right now. i think they are using only as much as they have to right now because they want to catch some teams off guard later. their plan is to get to the playoffs and i believe they feel the best way to get there is to always have a little something up their sleeve.
  20. i am just loving the fact that this is a topic of discussion. in years past i would watch this team and think to myself that we just don't have anyone that likes to hit. now it seems like everyone is in on it and it is fantastic. and the best part? they are not just going for big highlight hits, they are stopping these people dead in their tracks. and i can't nail it down to one hit, but i loved bradham's tackle near the sideline, spikes' little reminder to tannehill to get down quick, and yes, woods' hit was also great. love this team right now!
