  1. doesn't much matter what they looked like. they just beat a pretty damn good team in their own house. style points don't count as much as Ws.
  2. overall, i loved his game today. the catches were definitely nice, but the overall concentration, effort and ability were just a perfect blend. he is only going to get better from here.
  3. yeah, dareus was incredible today. he was destructive, he was energetic, at times he was unblockable. he was just incredible, i cannot wait for kyle williams to get back in their next to him and for brad-Ham to get back in their behind him. seriously, when he decides to play like that, there will be blood, oh yes, there will be blood!
  4. this is what i want maybe more than anything right now. i need for freddy and kyle williams to get into the playoffs. these guys have given so much for this team, and they deserve to play some playoff football. and nothing...nothing, would be better suited than a late december/early january game at the ralph with 70,000+ screaming fans showing their appreciation for these guys.
  5. and we were arguably without ours (kyle williams). never apologize for a win.
  6. i always thought he looked a lot like jp losman.
  7. then i am even more impressed that he can scramble the way he does.
  8. i love fitz. i am thankful that he was our qb for a time, i am thankful he was a member of the community. i appreciated the way that he played the position and the passion he has for the game. in a way, he was publicly humiliated and there was no way he was going to stay here, take a pay cut, and be a backup. he moved on and i wish him well. ej is a young qb that seems like he has everything you could want in a qb. almost everything, i wish that he would play with the passion that fitz seems to play with. it seems reckless at times but i doubt that anyone questions whether or not he is giving everything he has for his team.
  9. the rest of the team absolutely did enough to win, by a lot. my point was just that even with the pick 6, there were many, many opportunities to overcome it. and i agree, you have to do better in that situation.
  10. you have to accept the pick 6, it was a great play and it happened. there were a lot of what ifs throughout the game, and there were certainly enough plays left on the field to overcome the jj watt td.
  11. i came to the same conclusion, and it was very deflating. my optimistic hopes for ej took a huge punch to the gut today. there were so many instances i thought to myself "that is squarely on the qb, there is no excuse".
  12. ok. that makes sense. thanks!
  13. stop! collaborate and listen...
  14. i was kinda hoping someone could explain to me what the hell NSFW means.
  15. i am too connected to you to slip away, fade away. in days away i still feel you, touching me, changing me... considerately killing me.
  16. i love fitzy because he seems like the closest thing to "one of us" playing football. even though he, get this, has a harvard education, he seems to be very down to earth and likable. he also seems to be a guy that you can relate to, he seems genuine, and he seems to have a great sense of morality with strong family values. absolutely in my top 5 people in the world i would like to sit down and have a beer with. he played the position the way i want my quarterback to play. so maybe he isn't anywhere near as athletically gifted as most nfl quarterbacks, he gave all he had out there and that's why i will always love me some fitz! having said all that, sunday i will be rooting squarely against him.
  17. i am more of a marvel guy than a dc guy. having said that, this was a show i was interested in, but missed the pilot.
  18. i don't think this movie will ever leave anyone's top ten list. great movies come and go but this one seems to be eternal.
  19. or, maybe, you try to coach him up to bring out the talent you see inside him that made him a first round draft pick in the first place. he had a bad game. after having a couple decent games. why don't we give these folks a few more weeks before we gather up a posse and hand out the torches and pitch forks?
  20. man am i glad i stopped trying to rock the visor. thank you.
  21. just look at it this way...we won 2 out of three. we keep doing that and we are a 10-5 team with one game to go. there is reason to be optimistic, even in defeat.
  22. yeah, and it's a bit less offensive than the metallica song by the same name.
  23. 3rd down defense seemed brutal today. pass rush seemed close but not quite there. coverage seemed to have a lot of holes. ouch.
  24. there were a lot of reasons we lost today, many of which you hit on. i just think think that he absolutely has a big contributing factor to why we lost today.
  25. playman, it is incredibly awesome of you to bust out some ministry. my early 90's slf is flashing the devil horns! \m/
