van miller's voice was amazing. and the excitements and enthusiasm were just top notch. he really made the radio broadcast come to life. listening to him call the games then was like nothing i will ever experience again. i like john murphy quite a bit, but i am sure he would be the first to tell you he is no van miller.

i don't even think you would get a third for him. the best you could hope for is to trade him for some other team's disappointment and hope you get another hughes.

win or lose, sunday i will overreact and quite possibly curse at high volumes. monday i will be full of optimism/cynicism and will be difficult to be around either way. then for the rest of the week i will be convincing myself that if a few more things go our way, we are superbowl bound!

i had to go with the rb touchdown drought. it is incredible that a team coached by a former nfl o-lineman and former o-line coach, who has such a high opinion of the nfl run game, and seemingly a lot of talent on the roster at the position, is doing this.

completely agree, this one was bad. i felt like charlie brown after lucy promises to hold the football still, but when she yanks it away, good ol' chuck pulls a hammy, rolls an ankle, gets the wind knocked out of him, a concussion, and falls right square into a pile of snoopy poo. all in front of the cute red haired girl. damn you lucy brady!!!!!!!

i would actually love to hear him go on profanity riddled tirade completely taking these people to task. take the fine, take the suspension, take whatever they throw at you...just don't take it lying down!

i am unfortunately leaning heavily toward coaching change. i hate to say that because i really want to like this staff. but i can't understand the how and the why of it. i just find myself getting more and more frustrated on sundays. well, at least on sundays vs. the patriots. seems like i am always ready for heads to roll on those mondays.

in all seriousness, if one of the bills players, coaching staff, fans, member of management, mr. or mrs. pegula, or john murphy calling the game wanted to abandon their post and storm the field to stab the officials to death with a plastic spork...that would have been fine with me. i am never...ever...the guy who blames anything on the refs. but what the @#$% was that bull$#!! out there today?!?!?!?

refs were so bad it was taking every ounce of energy i had to not scream profanities at the top of my lungs. if i were at the game i think i may have stormed the field and started pummeling that old timer ref. not my proudest moment but that was f!@#ing bull$#!.

the goo goo dolls are not a band that i like at all. but i will give them their due, they are successful doing what they love doing. and if there are thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even millions of people that love their music, then i certainly won't say they suck just because it's "not my thing".

i was on the troy niklas bandwagon.

i expect a lot of emotion from mr. pegula. i expect some watery eyes in the crowd. i expect a thunderous roar for the new owner(s).i expect the fans to be insane. i expect the team to come out and play this game in a way that makes the statement that the division now belongs to the buffalo bills and that the road to the playoffs runs through ralph wilson stadium.

jeremy white requested that this guy call back during the pregame show tomorrow. it was a lot of fun. jw (not that jw) said he had a great time during the call and wanted more of it. it was quite a lot of fun to listen to as well. good radio right there.

our local midget and peewee football teams were selling tickets for the jets game at $40 a piece. i have a car load going up. we will be screaming loudly from section 338.

beat the teams you are supposed to beat, play well and gain some confidence. then we will see what happens with that december schedule.

i don't know if i will ever really be able to express what Ralph C. Wilson Jr. meant, and means to me. i don't know if the words would ever do the feelings justice, and i don't know if they could ever get past the frog in my throat or the blur in my eyes. all i can say is thank you Mr. Wilson, we love you.
