generally i am not a will ferrell fan, but i loved the first anchorman, and stepbrothers had me laughing all the way through.

i really want to see these guys get into the playoffs. i just don't know if i want it more for my own selfish reasons or because there are some great human beings on this team that really, really deserve it. i'm kinda thinking it's a pretty close race, there are some good ones on this team.

i really think they they are going to go on a tear right now. forget marrone/hackett/orton...think about fred jackson drawing to the end of his career. think about kyle williams, and eric wood. i think these guys are going to be very angry this week. and i would like to believe if they are genuinely angry then maybe a message with a sense of urgency might come through. and maybe...just maybe...the buffalo bills will kick some @$$ and take some names to finish out this season and get the good city of buffalo to the playoffs for the first time in a long time. (hey...i said maybe!)

10-6. they are going to be really, really mad and run the @#$#!@# table, ending with a dramatic mudstomping of the patriots in their own home.

yeah, but...i really would have liked to see manning hit, hurried, or at least pressured...once. i recognize, understand, and respect the game plan. but i would have liked to have seen him have to pick himself up off the turf...once.

i respectfully disagree there, he got 355 of the worst looking yards ever obtained by a professional qb. the dink and dunk, overthrow, underthrow, off time throws were bad. don't get me wrong, there was plenty of awful sprayed around by just about everyone for most of the game. but in the end, the "we need a new qb" buzzer was going off mighty loudly at my house. i am not trying to blame this game on kyle orton, i am just saying that it appeared to me that we need a lot more out of that position going forward. how we get it....i have no idea.

this along with the complete and total absence of any and all pressure on peyton manning are why i will be in a foul mood for at least a little while.

maynard james keenan of tool. has a really impressive range and a wide array of styles. also, the lyrical content adds to this quite a bit to me. but yeah, i gotta go with mjk as my favorite.

i used to love iron maiden. they still have some songs that put a smile on my face every time i hear them. machine head did a cover of hallowed by thy name. i like it quite a bit. if you have an inkling to check it out...

this is along the lines of what i have thought about ej for a long time. the kid has every physical tool you could want, along with a great work ethic (so we have been told). but i would really like to see what he would be like if he were to "play mad". to have that chip on his shoulder, to assert himself to the point of having the attitude of "this is my !@#$ing team and you WILL follow me!"

that's the one that throws my moral compass out of whack a bit. that guy just puts me in a dark and hurtful place.

well, i don't know if he will finish or not. but i kinda hope that if he comes out of the game it is because he has been yanked for a truly horrific performance and the dolphins are down by five or more scores. in most cases, i try not to wish injuries upon people. though i do make exceptions...

i will first be incredibly happy that there is a team out there that we actually have a win streak against. then pray to the football gods that somehow, some way...geno is the starting qb for the jets in ten days!

gotcha. i used to really like fear factory a lot and then they kinda fell off the map. there was a band called dry kill logic that put out a couple albums and at the time sounded promising. i am really out of touch with today's metal bands, so i have no idea what is even out there that is any good.

i'm not quite sure how you can categorize machine head as "pretty light". but then again i am getting a bit older and don't really have a taste for speed/thrash metal or the death metal stuff. i always thought machine head was a pretty heavy band, but then again, i have been listening to them for about twenty years now.

i and a couple friends had tickets for that show but everything went against us and we could not make it. spent the night at a friends house drinking some really awful malt liquor. alice in chains was was my favorite band at the time and i really liked sepultura, and ozzy is a freaking legend. i was really p!$$ed.
