i was swilling the yuengling oktoberfest as well as their black and tan. both quite tasty, but neither one is getting the taste of that game out of my mouth.

i am now expecting to get a lot of grief for my previous expectations.

bad things man...bad things!

i had been having difficulty getting excited for the season, in the past few days it has been ramping up. and now i am downright giddy! sweet jeebus i am ready to sing the shout song!

i have been pacing for an hour, 10 minutes ago i cracked my first.

i have a crockpot full of chili with a variety of beans and peppers. half ground beef and half ground italian sausage. and i am making some seasoned fries with cheese sauce. nachos and beer. after the game, i will unleash hell!

honestly, i expect a strong, legitimate playoff push. i expect the core to step up, take control, and establish themselves. i expect that this season, the Buffalo Bills will be looked at in a different light. and, i expect many a patriots fan will be heard muttering "oh @#$#".

it is possible that waiting and preparing for his moment has done him a lot of good. on the field as well as off. he seems like he is a good young man with a focus and drive that lends itself to a great story. he also has a confidence that does not come across as arrogance, and a command that seems to garner the respect of his peers. he is a great underdog that we can all get behind. and he has a lot of talent to boot. i am really looking forward to this opener, and the season.

this is the guy that intrigued me the most in this draft at the qb position. seems like the ultimate boom or bust. if it's a bust, oh well, it's a 4th round pick (last one in the entire round). but if it is a boom...we are all going to lose our minds!

are you allowed to say "shite" on here? but in all seriousnes, i was just thinking the same thing. it has taken me a while to get into the draft this year, but now that it is almost upon us...sweet merciful crap! i am ready!

if we could get hit girl on the team, that would kick ass!

going to see deadpool today. i am very excited about this one. i have been waiting for it for a long, long time. as a bit of comic book guy, i have always had a bit of a soft spot for these movies. and as someone that enjoys violence, inappropriate humor and bad language, this seems like a shot at a real winner here.

if you could make it ten minutes, you are a much better man than i. my guess is you would be needing an ambulance in under five.

be that as miss mae, for all intensive purposes this will always be the benny hill theme. i remember watching this with my grandfather many, many, many years ago.

i am a freddy guy all day every day. cutting him initially made me so mad i didn't know what to do. i know that the nfl is a business, but this just seemed really wrong. as long as he signs that one day contract and goes on the wall i am all good i guess. and i really want him to get a taste of some playoff football and hopefully even get a ring. freddy is so much more than just a football player, and i wish nothing but the best for him.

good lord...megadeth?!?!?! they have been an annoying nazal whine for far, far too long. i liked that stuff way back in the early 90s, but metal has come so far since then. this seems to be bordering on blasphemy. drummers are truly the heart and soul of a band.

there are times i have been in favor of "accidentally" tackling a ref...really, really hard.

what kinds of bands fall in to these "metalcore" and "deathcore" catagories? i am not quite sure what that is, but we may be on completely opposite ends of the metal spectrum here.

i am a bit out of touch with music in general lately. i had never really listened to them and then i am introduced to them and find out not only are they good, but they have about a guzillion albums. i am really liking these guys a lot. the drummer is freaking phenominal. that show must have been a little bit crazy, those bands are both pretty high energy.

this is definitely not my thing. i guess i go for a "softer" approach to metal. something a little less abbrasive with a groove and an edge, but still enough to get the "metal" job done.
