  1. Merry Christmas to all my tortured brethren...and sistren...on these here Buffalo Bills interwebs!
  2. i like what deonte has brought to the team. hr seems like a nice contributor. i think that zay is a good kid with a lot of talent/ he has shown flashes here and there but has also been wildly inconsistent. i think all he needs is that one game where he gets targeted a ton and the ball keeps coming his way. i think it is only a matter of time (and targets) for him.
  3. always thought he was a class act and a good guy. i still don't know how he is alive...i still have visions of ej lofting up that floater and goodwing damn near getting snapped in half.
  4. snow like that always brings back memories of back yard football games. but i will always remember the "let it snow" game vs miami, and the "holy $#!! this is friggin' cold!" game against the raiders way back in the late 80s/early 90s (i was pretty young).
  5. not only starting, but playing well (for the most part). this gives me hope as to next year's draft and acquiring more "McDermott guys".
  6. i like schopp and the bulldog quite a bit. my opinions often differ from on or both, but i can see where they are coming from. mike always wants an interesting topic so they can get a conversation going, and bulldog seems to be a guy that wears his sports heart on his sleeve. i love the non sports antics and especially the drafts.
  7. i think he is a polarizing figure because he is such a unique qb. he is a freak athlete, has a great arm, and is a class act and great human being. he is humble, and he is easy to root for. however, he has his limitations, and he plays the most heavily scrutinized position in all of professional sports. he is a flawed gem, and there are many that see him as one extreme or the other. and to me he is somewhere in the middle.
  8. am i detecting a Pixburgher in our midst? i think the staff would love to trade Glenn and draft his replacement. the only question is what would anyone give for this player with this contract?
  9. if this game vaults us into the playoffs and proves to keep the Chefs out, then yes. if not...then it is just a strange game in an up and down season.
  10. this is about right. some plays that he makes that are incredible, and a couple head scratchers. mostly safe, respect the ball. he had a few accuracy issues, and a few really nice throws. bought some extra time, and held on too long a few times. plenty of examples for and against this game. but we did win, so i am not about to try to tell anyone he is a bum.
  11. i have been whistling this song all day long. i don't see that changing tomorrow.
  12. absolutely. thurman is one of the greatest running backs in the history of the game. even casual fans know who he is. and daaaaaang...kelvin is a large man!
  13. i thought he had been playing better the last couple games. he seems to be getting much more comfortable, and confident. also...best td celebration ever. period.
  14. this is where i was today. loved that they seemed to make an effort to throw to him early, and he made some tough catches. he will be just fine, and i think he could be pretty good. glad to see him have a good day.
  15. there was a lot of mvp chatter for freddy before he got hurt that year. he was incredible. the definition of the complete back.
  16. that is great to hear. i love the team/family/character stuff that is coming through. that is the process. of course, they seem to have just enough talent to make it work.
  17. i love this movie. i still swear like this guy from time to time. i love those quirky movies.
  18. you're probably right. after last season, i was done with tyrod. then they brought him back as our qb. so, as long as he is our guy, i stand behind him and wish him all the success possible. but before the season started, i was really becoming one with my inner tank. so now, i just feel my sanity twisting away with every passing game. such is life as a biils fan.
  19. maybe it is time to "unleash" him as a runner. he seems to be at his best when he is a threat to scramble down the field. having said that, i also realize that teams are most likely scheming to take that away. but...something, somewhere, has to give.
  20. this is my concern as well. if those big bodies can crash down and open o hole, that's great. but if they are all jammed up tight in the middle, then we will be watching shady try to barrel through the @$$ of the guy in front of him. but hey...i could be wrong.
  21. relocation is probably the only thing. however, i would be one miserable sob if they traded a few firsts for a shot brady.
  22. i would not say the tyrod is terrible. i would say he is limited. and if he is your qb, you had better design a game plan the utilizes his strengths and masks his weaknesses. which today...they did not. also, the losses of clay and matthews suck, bad.
