  1. welcome to the offseason! classless maybe, but the challenge rating of such a task... and could you imagine champagne? i mean...differentiating which bubbles are which could be an amazing task!
  2. this is what i do, and i just get mad every time. my phone is apparently not compatible with the radio.com app, so this is the only thing i can do. all it does is make me really, really wonder why they couldn't have left well enough alone. with the wgr app, i listened all the time. now i am a very, very casual listener. and the less i listen, the less i mind that i am not listening. and that is not necessarily a good thing.
  3. just saying, that would clearly be his vote. if anyone else tried to vote there...i think they would be sniped from a balcony or something.
  4. but you left out "you're an idiot".
  5. there was a brief moment, maybe ten seconds, when his name was announced and i was really mad. leading up to the draft i really wanted rosen. the pick was made, i allowed myself ten seconds. then i took a deep breath, cleared my head, and immediately bought my ticket on the josh allen express.
  6. i think it all depends here. if you are going to spread everyone out and have multiple options, i want shady in there. if you are going to bunch up all the big guys and have about 5,000 lbs of humanity shoved into a phonebooth, go ahead and give it to ivory.
  7. i remember hearing Pantera for the first time in high school and just thinking "holy ****"! they definitely threw the doors of metal music wide open. they had a sound all their own and an incredibly passionate fan base. i was very sad to hear of Dime's passing, especially the way it happened. this one was just plain unexpected. thanks for the music, and may you find peace.
  8. i used to feel old when my friends started having kids. now many of them are becoming grandparents. my kids are still a ways away from making me a grandad, but not far enough away.
  9. at that time, i had no idea who jj watt was. and as for the embarrassing qb thing... i also wanted jimmy clausen, jake locker, christian ponder, tim tebow, ryan mallet, mike glennon, christian hackenberg...anyone with a pulse and an arm.
  10. i was so happy that the panthers took Cam Newton, and the broncos took Von Miller, because i truly believed that Marcel Dareus loved the game more than those two, and would make the biggest impact for years to come. his positive attitude and appreciation and work ethic were going to be the thing of legends! ps...i was also in the "i really hope Nassib is there for us at 8" club.
  11. if we are in that position, this is exactly what i would be hoping for.
  12. it could very well be. but in conjunction with the way Beane was speaking of their conversations...it sounds more like a "poop or get off the pot" wake up call. and the slimming down and getting quicker off the ball is hopefully a talented young man rededicating himself to his craft in hopes of having a long and successful career.
  13. we can only hope. but if they do...sweet merciful crap!!!!!!!
  14. this city may not be that city, but we are rather notorious for being a mentally unstable, yet enthusiastic fan base.
  15. he sure does seem to have it all in perspective. we love our Buffalo sports. and we love our Buffalo sports players that embrace the city. this guy is definitely gaining supporters every time he says things like this. if he ends up being great, this is going to be one hell of a ride!
  16. seems like he showed enough promise last year. he flashed some playmaking ability, quickness, and instincts. with an influx of talent around him, maybe he will be able to build upon what he showed last year.
  17. this made me laugh just a bit too hard. nicely done.
  18. what is the difference between an epileptic corn husker and a prostitute with diarrhea? the corn husker shucks in between fits!
  19. hopefully this is a case where competition will breed success. other than Benjamin, nobody else really has the "sure thing" label. i would think zay will be busting his butt to get back on the right track, kerley will want to make a paycheck, reilly will want to break through, holmes will want to prove he is a receiver in this league, ray ray and proehl should be plenty hungry to prove they belong, streater should be itching to pick up where he left off before the injury, and foster should be salivating at this opportunity. these guys may not be proven all stars, but hopefully we will see a bunch of guys giving everything they have and may the best man (men) win!
  20. maybe he likes Daboll better, and they were constantly making fun of the hoody all season long.
  21. absolutely. to me, this is a lot like coach McDermott stopping to tailgait with some fans on the way home. great to see things like this.
  22. looks to me like they are just having some fun. and i think it is absolutely incredible that these two got in on it and gave these folks one hell of a memento.
  23. maybe, and i could be way off here, but maybe the organization wanted to grab a vet with a lot of experience, a proven body of work, and a little bit left in the tank to just kinda help guide the rest of this fairly young offense. i mean, shady is a seasoned vet but will need a break every once in a while. and if they are going to be going with these three pretty inexperienced QBs, then a guy that can catch out of the backfield and pickup a blitz or not get fooled by a stunt or delay might be worth a bit more than a more athletic but less experienced guy. i don't know, just trying to look at it from different angles.
  24. happy birthday kw 95! hopefully, as a belated gift, we can get you a playoff win!
  25. under these criteria...how 'bout Rod Streater?
