"It's pretty sad if you need a silly in-joke about cowbells to make you think you're part of some elite TBD fraternity. Does it make you feel like you're part of the cool all-knowing crowd?" Awnser : YES! I am cool! Im am loved here, I'm am part of the elite. I'm part of the all-knowing crowd. It's no wonder I've made 100 posts in 4 years! Marc in Montréal

Respect the cowbell! Here's, on top of my head, the best all-time songs that feature, the cowbell. Now I'm not a music buff so I'm askin' for y'all to chip in and built the all-time best-song-that-feature-cowbell list. Here's my contribution: - Don't fear the reaper, BOC: No explaining needed here. - Groove is in the heart, Deee-Lite: Okay theres just like 3 seconds worth of cowbell but the song just wouldnt be the same without. - Push it, Salt N Peppa. A classic. I'm sure the producer who worked on the track was a Bruce Dickinson clone. Now let's hear about yours.... Marc, under the weather, in Montréal Go Bills!

1- Team identity I realized over the years that a qb’s enthusiasm and desire is contagious to a degree and will indeed have an effect over your teammates performance. How you are perceived plays a big role in influencing others. Call it the placebo effect if you will. Yes JPL’s cockiness and desire combined with his unique abilities to scramble will somewhat jeopardize his health at times but it will also forge the “win-at-any-cost / try-to-stop-that-play” attitude that the coaching staff seem to favour. Which brings me to my second point... 2- Playbook A Bills OL recently referred to Mularkey and Clements as “mad scientists,” for their sometimes unusual and extravagant play selection and design. They (the coaches) seem to like fakes and misdirection plays. Now who better to run and, most importantly, sell those screens, bootlegs and other misdirection plays : a nifty 1st round qb or an aging statuesque qb? In my mind these coaches wont be paralysed with the so called “fear of the unknown” and will turn to JPL for next year’s opener.

Casey Printers (sp?) QB of the BC Lions. Still raw (read young), great mobility, great arm strenght. IMHO the only one worth a look.

Im not all that thrilled with how it sounds: "...but backup quarterback Jim Sorgi said he expected to play at some point." "You go in with the idea of winning, first and foremost,” Colts center Jeff Saturday" Sounds like pre-season talk to me! I don't like it! The Rams' outlook seems more favorable to us. Cowbell Karma! Hey happy Holidays to you Bill! If you ever happen to come to Mtl let me know. I might not post as much as I use to but I always read. As for Bledsoe, I dont consider him an upper echelon Qb but a decent one. And the way our speacial teams and our defense is playing, all we need is an experienced Qb. But something tells me that Mularkey and Clements have a bunch of misdirection plays (rollouts, screens etc.) just sitting there waiting for the right qb to run them. But that debate can wait for the offseason. Go Bills! -
Let's face it guys the Rams' season might be over next week and the Colts will play for nothing. Now I'm not a very religious person but we need all the help we can here. So if you know someone, or know someone who knows someone highly ranked in any religion, cult or spiritual mouvement like a Chaman, a Patriarch, the Dalai lama, someone who's into Voodoo or Orthodox Church Coptic Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria, you ask for good Bills vibes! We need to pull all the strings we can. Now let's all go out and walk thru the front door of those obscur religious groups building we're driving by everyday and ask for help even if it means wasting 2 hours of our life hearing about the Apocalyspe, God and all that stuff. If you need to convert, do it! Go Bills! Marc in Montréal PS: Ideally a religion that uses the cowbell in it's rituals would be what we're looking for!

"In addition to a return game that has netted the Buffalo Bills five runbacks for touchdowns this season, the kick coverage units are much improved, and a big part of that has been the play of onetime starting safety Coy Wire. The three-year veteran, who overcame his disappointment at losing his starting job and turned himself into a superior cover player, has also been nominated for the prestigious Whizzer White (Humanitarian) Award." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1942476 Last par. of Pasquarelli's column Marc "shovellin' snow" in Montréal PS: Dont know if that info was posted earlier

Just read in the newspaper that everytime the Washington Resdkins lost their last home game prior to an election, there has been a change of gov. at the White House. They play against the Packers and the spread is negligeable. Hey Rennie I'll be at Champs tommorow. I was in CT last week. I'll bring a paper bag...the offense just makes me puke! See ya!

So I'm sitting home the other day thinking just how bad the Bills have become while watching Xibit's (?) show "Pimp my ride" when all of a sudden I make the connection: Just like a car, the Bills need an overhaul and need to get P-I-M-P'ed. All about attitude. So here goes: Top10 signs my football team has been Pimped! 10- During cold weather games coaches all wear purple fur bucket hats. 9- Instead of having sex with groupies players would pimp’em into having sex with the fans. 8- Instead of a meagre one-finger ring, the Superbowl ring would feature real diamonds and would be a four-finger wide ring. 7- Great new promo: present your Bills ticket to any participating strip joint and get half price on lap dances (limit of 2 per costumer). 6- Instead of hummers, the player parking lot would be filled with burgundy Buicks and Cream Cadillacs 5- Prospects involved in sexual felonies are to be moved up 10 ranks on the draft board. 4- New luxury boxes to include, champagne, Jacuzzi and “attendants”. 3- At halftime local kids get to compete in the Punt pass & Pimp competition. 2- On the road the coach make wearing an 8-piece suit with crocodile shoes and a cane mandatory. 1- New team colors: gold and green: green is for the money, gold is for the honeys! If you have more feel free to share! Marc in Montréal, Beoaaaatch !

OT - Any Bills fans in Montreal?

Mtl as been enjoying a residential "boom" the last 5-7 years (altough not to the same extend as Vancouver or TO) and home-ownership as well as prices are still on the rise. The bubble is not expected to bursts soon but might deflate in say a year or two. There are many non-residents who are home-owners in Mtl and around and quebec regions. Im not an expert but I wouldnt expect many legal obstacles for buying a home here. Try the official Canada website. My guess is that if you can pony up the $$$ for something of private nature, pretty much anything will be yours. Marc in Montréal (Go Impact !) -

Barring and semi-unpredictable turn of event, I will be at Champs with "Last Guy On the Bench". We'll keep you a seat and answer all of your Mtl queries. PS: If you have very little time I recommend just walking around in the Old City (Vieux-Montréal). Bring a jacket, it's been pretty warm the last few days but it's not suppose to last.
