  1. sounds like its going to be awesome. too bad i am watching the game on tv and will miss that stuff
  2. i'm personally panicking for the next 6 season. planning for the future you know.
  3. its not like it matters the new owner is going to gut the FO and blame them for sucking for the next couple years
  4. if the guy turns out to be a beast i would be happy with it. mostly due to the outstanding 1st round picks made by this organization in the last 10 years. don't want to give them too many top picks they will have a higher chance of picking someone that everyone on here hates until he signs somewhere else and then he will be the greatest talent ever that they shouldn't have let go
  5. nope it wouldn't be for anything but a publicity stunt. saying any different would be wrong. he's not going to start on this team. he can't play special teams. the main reason anyone is considering this is because of all the hype surrounding him. if you take away his life story he's just another maybin.
  6. i live in the nyc area i only dislike the jets because they are in same division i could care less about the giants. though most jets fans are jerks and giants fans agree and are usually cool about it.
  7. jordan palmer knows the bears playbook. that's part of the reason teams do this all the time.
  8. i'd be fine with mallet, barkley or ponder. mostly interested in mallet i thought he was a good choice coming out of college. he's spent enough time learning from marcia to have at least picked up some good hair care tricks if not that TD scoring fun. Both are much needed on this team
  9. it makes sense to me. try to get something for him. he wasn't going to make the team this year anyhow. also not shocked that no one was willing to give up anything for him.
  10. i like it. it does present some interesting situations
  11. yeah i didn't think it was horribly off.
  12. i like his style of play. the whole locker room mess in miami has more to do with the crybaby. his team mates went to bat for him and not martin. plus he's an upgrade. i say do it.
  13. its the lack of adjustments made during the previous season also as i've said on a number of posts, he hasn't changed his playbook to match the talent on the team. i also get the feeling that SJ13 (sorry i know were not supposed to talk about him) trade was brought on because hackett literally had no idea what to do with the guy. its probably going to be the reason CJ will be gone as well. plus the no huddle fiasco didn't help too much.
  14. i've been waiting for you to bring up leach again.
  15. i think the music was too loud so they had to shout to hear each other until they realized they could just text each other.
  16. i'm not sold on the OC either. he seems to be happier getting rid of players that don't fit his scheme. its about working with the personal you have and customizing it to their strengths and the oppositions weakness. i actually feel stupid typing that. its like saying the team that scores the most points wins. EJ needs his dump offs, he should run timing patters, use more than 4 plays, get CJ involved in the open field, and take some shots down the field….OFTEN! i have the feeling that hackett has no idea what to do with the players he has. i think the right coaching system would make EJ look like a beast. he has the physical tools to play the game he looks like a ok qb once he settles down. that didn't seem to happen in the last game until the 3rd quarter maybe take that into account and game plan for it.
  17. i thought when EJ threw on the run it was a bit more accurate than when he had time
  18. i wonder if they will bring up the curse
  19. generic speculation. its not going to happen. marrone is stuck with EJ unless he gets hurt again.
  20. from reading up on this it wasn't surprising. most of the players who responded to this poll had not played in, or were not playing in the teams that got the votes. also weather seems to be the biggest part of it.
  21. it makes sense. its unreasonable to want to have the team win. its unreasonable to want the team to score a TD and even seatlle with their amazing crowd would boo if their offense played the way the 1st team did. is it wrong to be frustrated with a team that doesn't appear to be improving on the offense? theres a qb of the future who doesn't seem like he will be playing in the league in 2 years. a WR that is supposed to be the greatest thing ever who we haven't seen anything from except a few catches in practice. the D shows promise, they are showing they should be fun to watch. but the offense is offensive. there are too many "weapons" to be unable to move the ball. i thought the boos were justified. if it lights a fire under the team awesome, if it doesn't what's another season of losing? though losing at this point seems stupid without a 1st round pick to gain. suggesting band wagon fans is stupid though. you need to win to have a bandwagon, thats something that just hasn't happened in a very long time. all that said, i've vented, i will watch every game. i will cheer like my life depended on it. like i have every season since i started watching football. even if the team is terrible. i normally bash that type of rant but hey we all have our limits.
  22. i like how it turned from questioning the PC nature of the country to calling ditka and anyone who agrees with him a bigot. i'm thinking the point got lost on people there.
  23. AWESOME!!! hoping we can all look back at this and go hey remember when jimbo beat cancer, dude is a beast.
