i said the same thing during the game sunday. dude couldn't seem to get a good block on anyone and i wasn't sure if he was even looked at on passing routes.

i don't get it. the pats won by a td. yeah the d didn't play up to the level they should have. but it was a td it wasn't like the game was lost by 40. though the way a lot of the articles i've read are reacting you'd think they did. the ones that have cracked me up the most are the ones where they are in essence saying the bills should close up shop and fire rex because none of the mentioned will ever win. i do feel that the player leadership on the team was lacking. when young players lose it like that the leaders/veterans need to step up and say something. other than that it was just a loss. on to the next game

i've said similar things. other teams that win aren't hated, sure there might be some dislike but not the level of hatred the pats have garnered. i still don't understand why the announcers don't reflect that opinion a bit more often.

if this isn't just random speculation, it does make the FJ move even more baffling. though with the beat up RBs on the team, i don't know why you wouldn't have a plan in place. though i'm not paid to make these kinds of decisions. i just speculate for free.

i'm surprised at the ferocity that the anti fred jackson crowd is reacting to this. i don't like the move, i think it makes the team weaker. i could understand if it was money and FJ wasn't willing to take a pay cut. or he could cut it on the field as a back up RB. or even if he wanted out because he wanted to be a starting RB or leave the team. he's allowed to be upset. Shady was the same way when he left PHI. it could be that whaley is taking all the heat for this even if he didn't make the choice on his own. it doesn't make sense to me to make all this noise about keeping him a couple months ago only to cut him now. weird. yeah he's 34, no i don't think he was going to play forever. i thought he might have had a year or 2 left. if brown was the reason for a lack of spots that is disappointing.

first year corners typically have it rough. give him a year or so and then make an assessment.

yeah had to put an end to listening to wgr. i listen to it because i no longer live in wny and i liked hearing about the bills. have to agree with the whole whining thing, annoyed me to the point that i quit listening. if your listeners want you to look at things differently you do it because they are paying to keep the lights on.

i would like to see him with the 1's as well. the 3's didn't really help out much. the line in particular. i don't see the harm of giving him a couple drives or even a quarter with them. give him every chance to bury himself. besides preseason so far has just been people getting hurt like crazy. you'd think EJ haters would want him in there more.
