i do find the timing of this article suspicious. nix is coming off what looks to be his best offseason, and there is a plan in place. or at least the appearance of one. you can start to see what they are trying to do. its not about just building a win now team. it looks to be a long term plan. which i don't think this franchise has had since polian was around. if nix flames out, sure i'd be fine with polian returning, though i was under the impression that would never happen after he got into it with ralph's daughter.

78 is bruce's number, no one should every have it. i could see 77 or 79 if none of the 90's are available. while i don't like kelsey's response it is his number. some players place a higher value on their numbers than others. kelsey is a serviceable backup who makes too much. i guess we will see. the bills FO has got to be happy with all the preorders they are getting.

i didn't like this pick. i thought the offense has been neglected. this is the way its going to be. i am trying to find the upside and like this pick. its still easier to deal with than the spiller pick. i keep hoping that it will be a good move in the long run.

if kalil isn't there i could see floyd or kuechly, barron is not an immediate impact player. unless all 3 of those guys are gone i suppose barron would be a different story.

the asking price isn't too bad to bring in a veteran. unless the bills are drafting a cb i don't see it as a problem. i'd pull the trigger on this. have him restructure his contract, the bills are an exciting team right now with the defense.

focus on the positions that there is a need in. running backs are a luxury pic. there is no reason to pursue that.
