  1. how about everyone just goes wearing sabres gear?
  2. I guess the real question is, can Ralph see that far across from his box to even realize the seats are empty?
  3. Here is the remaining home schedule: Jax Chi (in tor) Det Pit Cle NE Realistically the only other game I can see selling out this year is Pit (is it sold out already?), and Chi for the sole reason that it's in Toronto. I think this is great - it's really the only way that us fans can show Ralph and the FO that we won't stand, or more importantly pay, for this garbage on the field anymore. Does anyone know the last time that at least 4 home games were blacked out?
  4. I'm glad he got a fine, he's not Randy Moss or Larry Fitzgerald, big deal he scored a TD on a bad team, he should be fined for acting like an idiot. I did think it was creative and funny tho, but still, he deserved it.
  5. Any reason why you made this statement? Stats to compare, gut feeling? What is it?
  6. I don't know if they are shut downs yet, but I don't understand why Florence gets more snaps/harder assignments than McKelvin. Leodis has been very reliable for the most part this year.
  7. Are you kidding me, this is a horrible suggestion, "Hey free agent X, come live in Batavia there is so much to do here! Come and gamble at Batavia Downs, you can also...uh wait yeah thats it." That's really gonna attract players to the Bills. Give me a break.
  8. Who ever it is, I'm sure he will insist on being shirtless during every dance
  9. I think cutting Edwards has the effect, whether it's intentional or not, of sending a pretty clear message through the team. It doesn't matter if you're a starter, a captain, whatever, if you arn't producing we don't want you here going forward into next season. I say going forward into next year because barring a miracle turn around starting with a divisional win sunday, this season is about developing and evaluating. Now obviously a lot of guys on the team arn't producing, I get that, however Edwards days were pretty much numbered as he had more than enough time to develop. Maybe this will make players more accountable for their preparation and performance on the field. p.s. - does anyone want to take bets as to what season of dancing with the stars Aaron Maybin will appear on?
  10. That would be a good idea except all the best scouts are already under contract with the teams that consistently reload, not rebuild, like NE and Indy.
  11. These replies are hilarious but there's gotta be a team out there who would trade a 7th for him right? ...yeah, probably not.
  12. There is no point in keeping Edwards on the roster anymore, they might as well try to deal him before week 6 for anything they can get in terms of draft picks considering his contract is up this year.
  13. Baltimore is going to win the superbowl, now with boldin that offense is even more dangerous than it already was.
  14. I am really intrigued to see how the receiving core does this year. I really think Steve Johnson and Shaun Nelson will emerge as the reliable targets on this team this year, and Johnson will lead the WRs in receptions. If Evans is used correctly and is allowed to run across the hash marks, not with them it will make the passing game much better. Am excited to see Hardy play healthy and develop. Spiller is going to get a lot of receptions coming out of the backfield as well.
  15. I agree with the last post and adding to that, I think communication and understanding is the key between the FO and HC. You can tell the Bills are trying to convey this as Buddy and Chan appear in pressers and interviews together frequently. I gotta say I like what they both have to say and what their philosophy is moving forward. Both seem to be stand up guys who don't BS and tell it like it is. I feel like this draft was the perfect combination of talent and need. Moving to the 3/4 we needed lots of depth at the linebacker position, I feel like with that depth we picked up some versatility as well (guys with potential to be big strong players and side line to side line guys). It also is going to help out the special teams especially in KO and KR packages. I like the decision not to take a QB high. With a likely rookie cap next year and the high probability of drafting high in the first round again, there is an opportunity to take a quality QB at a good price. Especially with Trent in the last year of his contract. If Trent does get an extension after this year it will be cheap since he has only shown about a year and half of good play at that point (this is assuming he starts, is healthy, and performs well this year - i know i will get some flack for that statement). We all know about Spiller and he has been discussed a lot on the board, I think we all have high hopes for him. I will say that I'm sure he will be the main returner as well and that takes the load, wear and tear, and risk of injury off valuable guys like Jackson, and especiialy McGee and McKelvin who both missed time due to injury last season. On a final note, it seems that this draft class is a group of well rounded hard working guys. A few more drafts like this and the culture at OBD will really start to turn around, and hopefully so will the W column.
