  1. I'm a little vindictive, too. When my son was about 9 or 10, he was walking our dog and she peed on a guy's lawn. The guy ripped my son a new a-hole and called him stupid. When my son came home and told me, I said, "let's go talk to this guy." So we went to the guy's house; I rang the doorbell and he answered the door and immediately starts raising his voice at me. Told me my son was stupid and asked me if he even went to school. He was an older guy ... 70s. I was still close to punching him in the face, but I didn't. He kept saying how much money he spent to make his lawn look good. So before I left, I told him that my dog would be pissing on his lawn EVERY SINGLE DAY from that day forward. I would seriously make my dog hold it in until we got to his lawn when I walked her at night. Until the day she died (years later) I made sure she pissed on his lawn every day she could. I know the guy doesn't live there anymore. Not sure if he's dead and I couldn't care less.
  2. Continuing Pro Bowl voting can't stand. Always been a sham; always will be.
  3. We are so screwed.
  4. Does mystique keep a team from striking out 50 times on the wrong end of a 4-game sweep in the ALCS? (Judge went 1-16 in that series)
  5. I'll quote myself in order to respond to you ... Just another Yankees fan hanging on to what USED TO be. It's a little sad, really. You've been added to the list.
  6. Did you just compare Aaron Judge to Mickey Mantle?
  7. What are we supposed to call @Einstein???
  8. Where do I start? Yankees haven't been to the World Series since 2009; Mets were there in 2015. The Yankees just gave a 30-year-old strikeout machine a 9-year/$360 mil., contract. Enjoy those Ks in the postseason for years to come. Oh ... can Judge pitch? The Rangers just gave deGrom (who I love; don't get me wrong) a 5-year deal, even though he's coming off of consecutive injury-shortened seasons. The Mets replaced deGrom with the reigning Cy Young Award winner and World Series winning pitcher ... and they signed him for two years (not 5). Just another Yankees fan hanging on to what USED TO be. It's a little sad, really. Nah ... it's actually pretty funny!
  9. You got good vibrations?
  10. By the end of today, I expect the TBD Medical Team, TBD General Manager Team and TBD Football Analyst Team to report on the following: 1. Why was this tear not seen earlier? 2. How long will Von Miller be out? 3. What does this mean for the Bills' chances to land OBJ? 4. How will this affect next year's draft/free agency/trades? 5. What does this do to our Super Bowl chances? 6. When was the last time Bruce Nolan banged EJ Manuel's mom? Don't let me down.
  11. The game was six days ago. Do you think they go into self-induced comas between game days?
  12. That's a nice pickup for the Red Sox and nice to have him out of the NL East. Braves have Raisel Iglesias, so I think they're all set at closer.
  13. I actually thought Philly paid too much for Wheeler ( 5 year / $118,000,000), but he had a decent 2022. He's another one who can't seem to stay healthy. I wonder what kind of money Syndergaard is gonna get.
  14. I'm fine with the Quintana signing. Don't hate it; not in love with it. Philly loves taking our pitchers, eh? Eff them. All eyes on Eppler. Should get very interesting, very soon.
  15. Mills Lane and Richard Steele are the only two boxing referees I can name. Both legendary. RIP Mills Lane.
  16. I'd trade McCann for a fitted Rangers hat signed by Jake.
  17. How can you agree with that? I've read it at least 10 times and still have no idea what it says!!
  18. Again ... I don't think many of us are saying he's not producing. He is. He's just making too many mistakes and it's hurting the offense.
  19. I can only speak for myself when I say that Gabe's production isn't what I have an issue with; it's the drops. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a WR2 to catch every single pass that hits him in the chest. Just because he does a lot of good things doesn't mean that the bad things don't count. A 52% catch rate is terrible. Clearly, the 48% that he's caught have been great (looking at the stats you posted above). But he needs to be more consistent. That would make life a lot easier on Josh Allen and the entire offense.
  20. Well, I was curious and I new your lazy ass wasn't gonna lift a finger.
  21. Show debuted in 1982. Birth years of the cast: Sam - 1947 (end of December) Diane - 1949 Coach - 1924 Carla - 1948 Norm - 1948 Cliffy - 1947 Ages look legit.
  22. I think the Hamlin hit was worthy of a flag; but not of an ejection. I'm just happy that his ejection didn't last longer than four hours.
  23. Yeah, I was a huge Cheers fan when it was on. When Shelley Long left, it took me a little while to embrace Rebecca. But Kirstie Alley really did do a tremendous job with the role and the show didn't suffer one bit. RIP.
