Years ago, I ponied up to buy Justin Timberlake tickets. Like you, I wasn't really stoked about the music, but I'd always respected him as an entertainer/performer. It turned out to be fantastic. Taylor Swift is very, very talented and I bet she puts on a hell of a show. Seeing the Chilis with Frusciante is a no-brainer. That is going to be awesome. Thank God I was lucky enough to see this iteration of the band back when tickets were reasonable (2006 at Pepsi (Now MVP) Arena in Albany - same size as MSG. $41 for decent/close seats. I just looked on ticketmaster for the Syracuse show and similar seats would cost $231 now. Crazy.

Syndergaard to the Dodgers. One year, $13 million. Angels gave him $21 million for one year last season.

I think this is fear mongering at its finest (by the media; not the OP). He's not 100%, but who is at week 15? It's colder than a witch's tit out there and I'm sure that makes him require more stretching/work to be done on his throwing arm. If his receivers didn't drop a billion passes last week, he'd have had a great game an no one would be batting an eye at this. The vast majority of his passes were accurate. He's fine.

Oh, yeah!! Thanks! We got those last year. Good stuff, but once a year is enough.

Going to see Tony DeSare on Friday night at a super small venue (Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls, NY) https://www.mystrandtheater.org/photos/q2mf0q3l0xkqjf1vwq84vw9qlqthzq ... about 300 seats. He's originally from Hudson Falls and comes back annually (I think). He's done well for himself. Hell of a crooner and I'm really looking forward to it. One of his originals ..

Third Eye Blind is touring in 2023. It's a smaller venue tour, which is nice. Just incase anyone wants to buy presale tickets, the code is FAN3EB2023. https://www.ticketmaster.com/third-eye-blind-tickets/artist/783654

I agree. Great interview. Followed by Josh doing his best to contain himself. The word "trust" came out of Josh's mouth early and often.

A true warrior. Give me a friggin' break. Every time this clown opens his mouth, I like him less. -

Look, man. As long as someone picks up the slack and we still get Medaille bowling updates, everything is going to be okay. -

The consequences he faced were all about what he does for a living/who his employers were. If Jerry Sullivan got a DWI a week ago, he wouldn't have lost his job. If the CEO of M.A.D.D. gets a DWI, she's getting fired before she sobers up. Sullivan has no one to blame but himself. -
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35251835/jets-robert-saleh-zach-wilson-no-2-qb-lions-game "Zach's been doing a great job," Saleh said. "He's been deliberate in his approach over the last three weeks. He's been holding himself accountable with regards to how he wants to attack practice, how he's been performing in practice, going against our defense, which I think is a pretty good defense to go against. He's been working on all the different things that we've been asking him to accomplish." I think Saleh has handled this whole situation about as poorly as any HC could. He says WAY too much to the media, in my opinion. I'm interested to see how others interpret his latest comments (above). If I were to "translate" this, I think it would be something like: "Zach got benched because he wasn't putting the work in. His approach was lackadaisical, he's been a finger-pointer and he was just going through the motions in practice. He's got a ways to go, but he's finally starting to respond to our concerns." My gut tells me that this is more of a personality clash between Wilson and his teammates than anything. And instead of approaching this as a "team problem," Saleh let the locker room make the call and decided to treat it as a "Zach Wilson problem." Saleh has lost this team, IMO. I couldn't be happier.

So did you make the playoffs in your fantasy league?
Gugny replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am a first-time Fantasy Football player this season and I managed to squeak into the playoffs. Diggs and Chubb have been my horses for the most part. It's been a great and fun learning experience and I'm already looking forward to next season. -
When I was in the Navy, a lot of guys used shaving powder to avoid bumps. That stuff stunk to high hell.

Translation: Beane wanted to give McKenzie one more chance to prove himself.

I wonder if it's because you're having to stop at the beard's edge, therefore using shorter strokes. This is an odd one, for sure.
