  1. I think the point is that he's been part of very few defensive coaching staffs on winning teas and that he's been a coach in the league for a dozen years with no upward movement. So, yeah ... I think I made a point.
  2. How many Goddamn steps? It's been sixty ***** years! Give me the Super Bowl ASAP and I don't care if Josh retires the next day and the Bills suck for a decade.
  3. Nov. of 1992. The other concert I saw in Virginia was Motley Crue/Whitesnake in 1987 at the Richmond Coliseum. For that one, I was visiting my brother, who was in the Navy; by the time the Ozzy show came around 5 years later, I was in the Navy, too, LOL.
  4. Pretty incredible track record: https://pro-football-history.com/coach/2238/joe-danna-bio
  5. All last night I sat on the levee and moaned All last night, sat on the levee and moaned Thinking about my baby and my happy home
  6. So tell me, Joe ... how do you feel about cushions?
  7. I love his wife!
  8. I graduated HS in 1989 and I only recall one dust-up between parents at a wrestling match. It was just two dads and no swings were thrown. De-escalated very quickly.
  9. I was at the Scope in Norfolk, VA. Layne Staley had just broken his leg in a motorcycle accident either that day or the day before. After Sepultura was done and they got AiC's stage set, the lights went out and a single spotlight hit a wheelchair at center stage. Staley did most of the show on crutches and they had some fun with the wheelchair. Zakk Wylde came out and sang background vocals for Man in the Box. Such a great night of music.
  10. Yep. Good QBs are hard to come by, so guys like Nate Peterman are still employable. Great gig.
  11. Buffalo is the 2nd largest city in New York State.
  12. I remember seeing him on his No More Tours tour … and that was in 1992. Ozzy makes Brett Favre look decisive.
  13. I think Sam Bradford made $130 million!!
  14. It was the smart move. Baseball is WAYYYY more competitive, with the best players usually NOT being U.S. citizens. As a first overall NFL pick, he would have had to pull a Ryan Leaf to not make guaranteed bank. It would have taken him years to even be considered to be bumped up to the major leagues in baseball. 2004 was it. That's almost 20 years. Even if they drafted a 16-year-old then, it's unlikely that he'd still be playing professional baseball (or any other sport).
  15. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/tom-brady-becomes-last-active-montreal-expos-draft-pick-to-retire-from-professional-playing-career/#:~:text=In addition to all his,be drafted by the Expos. Brady was the Expos' 18th-round pick in the 1995 MLB Draft.
  16. I read, yesterday, that NYC will break the record for consecutive days without measurable snowfall (I believe that is defined as at least 1/10 of an inch). Over 370 days and no significant snow in the future. I'm a few hours north and I wish we could be so lucky.
  17. Am I wrong? Have I run too far to get home? Have I gone? And left you here alone? If I would, could you?
  18. How many current Bills will still be in Buffalo, or the NFL, by the time this new stadium opens?
  19. I feel like you're the kind of guy who throws 9/11 parties.
  20. Summer nights and my radio Well that's all we need, baby, don'tcha know? We celebrate when the gang's all here Ah, hot summer nights, that's my time of the year
  21. I can see t-shirts directed at our opponents ... "Less Ness, Man?"
  22. I think it's more likely that Beane may be overrated as a GM. Bills had the Electric Company in the 70s. Now they've got Cocoon 3.
  23. This reminds me of when TuhROD became a "Pro Bowler." Alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate to the alternate PRO BOWL QUARTERBACK!
  24. Wait ... are you telling me that coaches are allowed to actually let rookies PLAY??? Someone get Clappy on the phone, STAT!
