  1. The six "gimme" wins/season obviously helped them with getting into the playoffs and vying for postseason byes. But ... as our beloved Bills have shown us over the past few years, getting into the tournament is one thing; winning in the tournament is another.
  2. I think the rest of the league also understands the importance of offense, which is what wins championships now.
  3. Give me his 1300 all-purpose yards and I won't care if he pays 50 people off/year to sweep things under the rug.
  4. it's a goddamn game, dude. Football is a game.
  5. I can't see anyone but a serious Bills homer even trying to debate this. Kelly's not even a top 10 QB.
  6. Said the person who kept the thread going.
  7. Tom Brady played in ten Super Bowls. Josh Allen has played in zero. All of the other crap ... I couldn't give a rat's ass.
  8. "While the get-togethers were said to have gone well, they did not improve the broadcast as Nantz and Romo continued to go in the wrong direction, much the same way as Nantz and his previous partner, Phil Simms, went backward. " Seems that Nantz is the common denominator, here.
  9. I think the point is that he's been part of very few defensive coaching staffs on winning teas and that he's been a coach in the league for a dozen years with no upward movement. So, yeah ... I think I made a point.
  10. How many Goddamn steps? It's been sixty ***** years! Give me the Super Bowl ASAP and I don't care if Josh retires the next day and the Bills suck for a decade.
  11. Nov. of 1992. The other concert I saw in Virginia was Motley Crue/Whitesnake in 1987 at the Richmond Coliseum. For that one, I was visiting my brother, who was in the Navy; by the time the Ozzy show came around 5 years later, I was in the Navy, too, LOL.
  12. Pretty incredible track record: https://pro-football-history.com/coach/2238/joe-danna-bio
  13. All last night I sat on the levee and moaned All last night, sat on the levee and moaned Thinking about my baby and my happy home
  14. So tell me, Joe ... how do you feel about cushions?
  15. I love his wife!
  16. I graduated HS in 1989 and I only recall one dust-up between parents at a wrestling match. It was just two dads and no swings were thrown. De-escalated very quickly.
  17. I was at the Scope in Norfolk, VA. Layne Staley had just broken his leg in a motorcycle accident either that day or the day before. After Sepultura was done and they got AiC's stage set, the lights went out and a single spotlight hit a wheelchair at center stage. Staley did most of the show on crutches and they had some fun with the wheelchair. Zakk Wylde came out and sang background vocals for Man in the Box. Such a great night of music.
  18. Yep. Good QBs are hard to come by, so guys like Nate Peterman are still employable. Great gig.
  19. Buffalo is the 2nd largest city in New York State.
  20. I remember seeing him on his No More Tours tour … and that was in 1992. Ozzy makes Brett Favre look decisive.
  21. I think Sam Bradford made $130 million!!
  22. It was the smart move. Baseball is WAYYYY more competitive, with the best players usually NOT being U.S. citizens. As a first overall NFL pick, he would have had to pull a Ryan Leaf to not make guaranteed bank. It would have taken him years to even be considered to be bumped up to the major leagues in baseball. 2004 was it. That's almost 20 years. Even if they drafted a 16-year-old then, it's unlikely that he'd still be playing professional baseball (or any other sport).
