    Man Crushes

As I'm looking at the summer concert schedule for SPAC (Saratoga), seeing Matchbox Twenty reminded me of the man-crush I have on Rob Thomas ... which then reminded me of this thread. So I'm bumping this mo fo! Who's your mancrush(es)??
  2. My pleasure and I'm glad it worked out, man! I still enjoy Facebook. I'll post fun things I'm doing, etc., and it's a good way to stay in touch with people I rarely see. I don't do politics and I unfollow anyone who overdoes it. I've unfollowed A LOT of people over the past 5-7 years! It's the only way I can keep it positive.
  3. I actually find NBA basketball to be pretty boring. In addition to the pace at which it's played, the fact that the regular season means so little also turns me off.
  4. The Bills’ window is closing faster than windows in the house on Amityville Horror.
  5. I remember that draft night like it was yesterday. @Pine Barrens Mafiamust have created 14 threads saying, "PLEASE! IF THERE IS A GOD ... DRAFT ANYONE NOT NAMED DK METCALF!!" I hope he's happy now.
  6. I remember Adam Oates from his Adirondack Red Wings days. I’m pretty sure I was in 2nd or 3rd grade at the time.
  7. If Beane goes defense in the first round, I’m going to buy a puppy just so I can kick it.
  8. Every team needs luck. Capitalizing is the difference.
  9. And so it begins …. Bills sign S Zayne Anderson from Kansas City. Brick … by … brick.
  10. Add Valentine to the list of Mets managers he pissed off. Valentine was the last manager he pissed off as a Mets announcer (McCarver was fired shortly after he called out Valentine for a pitching change during a game broadcast). Personally, I think it's refreshing to hear team announcers call it like they see it and not ball-wash. It's what made Eckersley great in that role ... and also one of the things I love about the current Mets announcers. My only beef with McCarver is that he talked about himself a little too much. But he was still great at what he did and I'm sure having Ralph Kiner next to him didn't make his life any easier. A legitimate broadcasting legend.
  11. That's cute. Win a Lombardi Trophy.

    2023 Concerts

@T&C - Lo and behold, I recently got notifications for both Styx and John Mellencamp playing (not together) at the Palace Theatre in Albany, which is my favorite venue of all time. Just under 3K seats; great acoustics; fantastic atmosphere. I hope this trend continues.
  13. He couldn’t build a Lincoln Log cabin.
  14. Is it really toasted?
  15. I can't say I was ever a huge McCarver fan, but he had one hell of a career. RIP https://nypost.com/2023/02/16/tim-mccarver-legendary-broadcaster-dead-at-81/
  16. This really sucks, dude. I found this article that has a bunch of information on how to recover accounts - even in your situation. Hope it's helpful! https://ccm.net/apps-sites/social-media-instant-messaging/469-how-to-recover-a-facebook-account/
  17. She said "I know what it's like to be dead I know what it is to be sad And it's making me feel like I've never been born"
  18. This is how I've always thawed shrimp, too.
  19. It's not her fault that her parents are idiots. I actually feel bad for her.
  20. This reminds me of when we brought Dave Wannestadt in. Sometimes (always), the game evolves and old coaches don’t. Oh … and f*ck Rex Ryan.
  21. Stifle it, Edith. I said nothing about any child. Have an adult read what I wrote to you.
  22. Allrecipes.com is my go to when I need ideas. Lots of great recipes with common ingredients.
  23. No. What's odd is that stupid spelling.
  24. Has any other professional athlete ever been WORSE at hiding the truth than this yokel?
