Antonio Brown - (Former) Arena Football League Owner
Gugny replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
The team had decent attendance already. They’re defending champions. Since AB and his father joined the mix, the former owners, all of the coaches and many of the players have left. Those who chose to stay went without pay for a while, which they finally got. Bottom line, they’re destroying the team and I’m pretty certain this season will be the last we see of the Albany Empire. -

If you really had a heart, you’d donate your brain to one of the PPP regulars! -

Like we didn’t see THIS coming … https://cbs6albany.com/amp/sports/content/empire-team-owner-antonio-brown-suiting-up-for-next-home-game-majority-owner-albany-empire-mvp-arena Antonio Brown, majority owner of the Albany Empire, plans to suit up and take the field at the next Albany Empire home game. JR Rickert, who works directly with Antonio Brown, sent us this statement. "AB fully plans to suit up this season for the Empire and is listening to interest from NFL teams. I can confirm that teams have been inquiring about him playing." -

Any hot bartenders in Pittsford?? -
I saw them at RPI in ‘87 (Rabin-era). I was never a huge Yes fan, but I did prefer classic Yes over this iteration of the band. I just checked the set list - https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/yes/1987/rpi-fieldhouse-troy-ny-13df1ddd.html - and at least I didn’t have to endure Love Will Find a Way or the Rhythm of Love (both set list regulars during that tour)!

Because it’s a crappy pop song. But I get it … just like I knew it was inevitable that the Police would play Every Breath You Take, which I consider to be the worst (hands down) Police song ever recorded. These guys know there are more casual fans than fans who know/understand a band’s entire catalog of music. So I do understand why they play those songs live. But I don’t have to like it. 😂

I am surprised and even a little saddened that Owner of a Lonely Heart made the set list, let alone as the encore.

I did not scroll through 4 pages to see if @boyst has chimed in, but I’m tagging him because this method of buying tickets is something I know he’s experienced in.

I am an avid Beatles fan. Always. Even a Macca guy and I was lucky enough to see him close to a decade ago. I love Ringo the Beatle, but I’ve never been able to embrace his solo stuff. I know that his ASB experience is much more than just his music. I would love to see him, primarily to be able to say I’ve seen two Beatles. But with ticket prices these days, it’s still a hard sell for me. Either way, I love that your grandson is going to see Ringo and I’m sure it will be a memory to enjoy for a lifetime!!

I peruse Facebook marketplace and would buy something from there, or a similar outlet. I have just never found anything I was looking for. As far as being a seller, I’ve sold an SUV (FB), a snowblower (FB), a motorcycle (CL) and a Jeep Wrangler (CL). I was careful to price all of them fairly. The SUV, snowblower and motorcycle, I did not state “firm,” and was happy to dicker. All good and fair experiences. The Jeep, I listed as firm and specifically stated, “The price is firm. Unless you are prepared to hand me $11,000 cash in exchange for the Jeep, please don’t waste your time or mine.” I sold it to the first person who looked at it and he did not attempt to dicker.

What was your favorite era of being a Sports fan?

The 80s. In addition to baseball and football, tennis (men’s and women’s) and boxing were phenomenal. Even the Olympics were better. -

Which Bills players are “Make-It or Break-It” for 2023?
Gugny replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Make the AFCCG at the very least. And if we lose for the same reasons we last the last one (dreadful coaching), then I’d be all for him being gone. It really depends on why the Bills didn’t make it to the Super Bowl. The Bills’ post-season elimination games during the McDermott era have not been pretty and blame it squarely on coaching. I don’t think I’m being unreasonable. -
I got $25 tickets to Rod Stewart last summer and he was great! Enjoy!

Well … he’s articulate. At least Leodis thinks so.

If we could extend this to coaches (which I guess we have, now), then I will agree with Dorsey and DEFINITELY throw McDermott in there. -

With regard to the pill popping, that is something I admired him for. The over-prescription of opioids is obviously one of the biggest problems plaguing our country. He had the balls to tell the world that it was becoming a personal problem and he was taking time to address it. That said, the guy is still a complete douche. But not for that. -
