  2. I’m a five-hour drive away and I e eaten there a dozen times! Get your ass in there!! Ice cold Molson Canadians, wings and a beef on Weck. You will not be disappointed!
  3. I’m smart enough to pick out my own clothes. Must be my high IQ. 🤷‍♂️

    2023 Concerts

Absolutely. But like a lot of other bands from that era (and beyond), they suppressed their real talents for radio-friendly hits. More than anything else, I’m hoping they use the live stage to showcase those talents.

    2023 Concerts

Seeing them next weekend. I don’t have really high expectations, as I was never a true fan, per se. But this is good to know heading in!
  6. Congrats! You seem like a really great dude and I wish the best for you and yours!
  7. I didn’t say I was parking there!!
  8. This is pretty much where I’ve been … but the lack of discipline in the field and on the bases just tells me it’s uninspired baseball. I have a hard time blaming Buck, but I’m really starting to think about it as the season continues. Im not calling for his head by any means. But I do think girardi would be an upgrade and could be a spark. I really don’t know.
  9. That’s what I will be doing.
  10. I wanted Girardi, big time. BVW and the Wilpons were why he wanted nothing to do with it, IMO. Hopefully the new regime is more attractive to him. I’d love to have him. I love Buck. Loved the hire. But there is clearly something wrong.
  11. Today’s loss had bad fielding and we lost because Buck left a pitcher in too long. I wonder if Joe Girardi has the itch.
  12. Across the River Styx, out of the lamplight His nemesis is waiting at the gate The Snow Dog, ermine glowing in the damp night Coal-black eyes shimmering with hate By-Tor and the Snow Dog Square for battle, let the fray begin.
  13. Trying to eliminate the phone would work about as well as Just Say No did. It’s not practical. Help the kids understand the common courtesy/respect aspect. Help them understand that, when they get into the real world, most jobs will have similar rules. Promote logical decision-making and common sense. Simply saying, “don’t do that,” isn’t effective past the age of 4.
  14. Not sure what the big deal is, here. When my son was in school, these were always the rules. “Silent and out of sight during class.” Sounds like common sense to me.
  15. They were the Vegas favorite to WIN it for the entire preseason and regular season, if I’m not mistaken (which is likely).
  16. McNabb also had little talent around him. I am a McNabb fan and he got screwed by Philly starting the night he was drafted.
  17. What’s more relevant is how long it took Andy Reid after getting himself an elite QB.
  18. It says tomorrow, so you’re early!
  19. My parents put Vaseline on all of the shepherd hooks to keep chipmunks and squirrels from climbing them. The chipmunks will hang around below the feeders and catch what the birds drop, but other than that, they’re harmless.
  20. Yep. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not terrible.
  21. They did team up with Saranac Brewery to make a decent IPA (moe.saic).
  22. I’m not arguing with anyone about anything. I just think, and always have thought, it’s a dumb moniker.
  23. I got vanity plates about 5 years ago and they definitely had Bills plates with a helmet on the left of the plate. I couldn’t think of anything personalized that I wanted to do that wasn’t already taken, so I scrapped the idea. To get a Bills plate with a personalized number is a double hit to the wallet, too. I opted to just do a personalized letter/number combo (Mets related) on one of the blue/gold plates. I think it’s an additional $60 every two years, but I could be mistaken. If I’d have gone with a Mets plate AND the personalization, it would have been at least double that amount.
  24. My parents do the same in their backyard. A bunch of bird houses, a couple bird baths. Bunch of feeders and flowers. They even have a resident chipmunk who visits them on the porch. My dad keeps almonds out there and “Chippy” hops up on his lap and climbs up to his chest to get his almond haul.
