  1. Could the culture of blaming victims be any greater in this country?

The source of the distraction really is irrelevant. A distraction is a distraction. Teams like the Eagles (Vick) and Browns (Watson) chose to deal with the distractions for what they thought/think would be a top notch starting QB. We are talking about a punter. A punter. An unproven, inexperienced … punter. If you can show me a team who is “a punter away from being a Super Bowl contender,” then I will listen.

Be that as it may, it’s a distraction. Whose fault it is, is totally irrelevant.
  4. I think my level of fandom is equal between the Bills and the Mets. I am a lot more committed to watching every Bills game, but that’s only because there’s fewer than 20 in a season vs. 162+. I do watch at least part of most Mets games, though. Last year was probably the first year ever that I thought the Mets and Bills could both go all the way (before their seasons started). My expectations over the years have become much more realistic (outside of last year). Between a World Series Championship and a Lombardi? That’s tough. I honestly can’t say which one I want more.

I mean for any team. If he was some kind of generational talent, he’d have been the first punter chosen. He’s a punter. There is no punter in the league worth the distractions he would being to any team.
  6. When rumors were heating up that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were going to buy the Mets, I was 100% prepared to dump the Mets if it came to fruition. My mind was made up that I’d switch to the Red Sox (because Fenway is the same distance from me as Citifield and I love Fenway) and only switch back if the team was sold to someone else. Luckily, it didn’t happen. Had it happened and I jumped ship, I would not consider myself disloyal, given the context.
  7. If I had to guess, I’d say a solid 90% think they’re the cat’s ass.
  8. There has never been even one second that I thought the zubaz pattern was anything other than hideous.

I feel like I recall that he had no experience holding for FG attempts. His big leg would come in handy if the offense gets held deep within its own territory, but other than that, I don’t know what promise he’s shown. I just don’t see the juice being worth the squeeze, here.
  10. That might be a byproduct of being near the NY/NJ border.
  11. I’ve always been kind of a homer with our first round picks. I’ve always been able to convince myself that they were the right picks. The Kincaid pick felt great to me right when it happened. No self-convincing necessary.
  12. Is this “I am so effin’ happy about this pick!!” Or is it “What the f*ck were they thinking!?!”
  13. It’s good for the millionaire players and the billionaire owners.
  14. My last few trips, I’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn in Hamburg and it’s been perfect and affordable. Less than 10 minutes to the stadium. About 20 minutes from the Bar Bill in EA. Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast.
  15. Im struggling to understand how one person’s willpower can control another person’s actions. I don’t think that’s how willpower works.
  16. Not nearly often enough.
  17. Usually twice/week. Two small loads, at most.
  18. If nothing else, his completion percentage is 1.000 with this chick. Looks like he found his receiver!
  19. Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld) Alan Harper (Two and a Half Men) Luther Van Dam (Coach) Ed Norton (Honeymooners)
  20. I honestly cannot understand how anyone wouldn’t like Jim Nantz.

I feel like this is the route he’s going to take (or already has begun to take) and I agree - if playing in the NFL is his goal, this isn’t going to expedite it.
