  1. My buddy and I used to watch General Hospital after school.
  2. I used to fly one 365 days/year. Now I do a Bills flag during football season and a Mets flag during baseball season. I between, I’ll do decorative/seasonal/holiday-themed flags.
  3. I haven’t flown an American flag at my house in seven years.
  4. I get all of that. But I think we saw a regression last season with Josh resorting to hero ball too much. I’m not concerned and I don’t think it ended up making any difference last year. I’m just saying that I believe people would be a lot happier with Dorsey if Allen took more high-percentage passing opportunities.
  5. When I said I wasn't an expert, I didn't mean that I was blind and illiterate. It's a bug when Josh is unnecessarily ignoring open receivers so he can try to wait for something else to open further downfield.
  6. My feeling is that Josh Allen makes Dorsey look good at times … and he makes him look bad at times. I am no expert. Never claimed to be and don’t even want to be. But from the comfort of my couch, what I see is a QB who has no respect for his OC and would rather stretch plays out and look for the bombs, than to take what’s given to him and move the chains. I’m not bashing Allen. I love the guy. But there are proper times for him to go into Hero Mode and he did it too much last season. My biggest knock on Dorsey was his inexplicable omission of Hines in the offense. But I don’t know if that’s a Dorsey call or a McDermott call. Either way, not using Hines was .. for lack of a better term .. stupid.
  7. Belichick Harbaugh Reid Shanahan McVay In that order.
  8. I am a man of the cloth. So is @LeviF .
  9. I voted no, because I think that’s the reality. If “It Should Be” was an option, that would’ve been my vote.
  10. How will we ever replace those 6 catches/playoff game??
  11. This was the specific moment in time that made me hate Pete Carroll forever. Classless, bush league crap.
  12. An old high school friend’s dad is in his mid-80s … retired attorney and still owns a motel (you’ve probably driven past it - it’s on Route 9, just south of the Great Escape … Graycourt Motel). He still wears a suit and tie 7 days/week. I actually saw him coming out of his office just the other day. Not exactly sure what he does, but he’s clearly staying busy!

    2023 Concerts

We have tickets to see Tears for Fears in Saratoga, early July. I haven’t read any reviews. Really looking forward to it.
  14. I just want to thank you for putting the date in the title. Nothing frosts my ass more than someone saying “today” or “tomorrow” without a date for reference. If you were next to me right now, I’d give you a hug.
  15. A lot has changed since Tomlin and Harbaugh found glory over a decade ago. “Defense wins championships,” is an antiquated philosophy. And even if defense DID still win championships, I’m not sure throwing out a geriatric defensive backfield and hanging your hopes on a geriatric Von Miller is the right way to go about things. I’m happy that the O line has been addressed (finally), but I still think we need a WR who complements Diggs in the playoffs and so far … nothing. I think it’s a legitimate concern.

    2023 Concerts

Not sure if anyone’s got tickets to see John Mellencamp, but he just abruptly canceled his show in Albany that was scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, June 13). I didn’t have tickets, but I considered it. https://q1057.com/john-mellencamp-cancels-upstate-new-york-show-heres-how-to-get-a-refund/ “Mellencamp just played 3 shows at the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan (June 5th, 6th and 7th) and he is scheduled to play Syracuse June 14th and Buffalo on June 16th. No word on the status of the Syracuse or Buffalo show at this time.”
  17. First of all, enjoy the game!! And Lindor will come around. I get the batting slump, but the defensive slump perplexes me. Maybe he got some Buffalo bartender pregnant or something. 😂
  18. Well, New Jersey has a handful of Lombardi Trophies. They win.
  19. Yeah, there is a difference between being observant and crusading. But it goes both ways. McDermott deserves plenty of credit for helping to turn the franchise around. But let’s be honest … most head coaches with top 5 NFL QBs tend to find success. I’m perfectly fine with someone opining that McDermott has done a good job in leading the Bills to becoming a perennial playoff team, while also pointing out that one AFCCG and multiple early playoff exits = underperforming. It’s exactly how I feel.
  20. Are people negative? Or observant?
  21. You said over 20. I’m all for a little embellishment, but you’re not even close.
  22. What are these 20 teams of which you speak? And Saratoga is not Albany.
  23. They lost every game vs. Atlanta because of crappy pitching. If we can’t count on Verlander and Scherzer to be consistently good, we are fuct. They were both HORRIBLE in this series. The way DH has been “addressed,” is totally on Eppler. I can’t believe Ruf even BEGAN the season on the roster and yes … Vogelbach is pathetic. Lots of problems with the team, but I think the majority has been pitching. Terrible. The Diaz injury really hurt.
  24. His first quote was fine. But he was baited into going further. When he did, I do believe that he said something he will regret. He didn’t say not to donate, but he did imply that donating was not a great idea. He should have kept his mouth shut after he first spoke.
