  1. Where did this rumor come from? You gots a linky?
  2. I've actually noticed far less unabashed homerism this year than in any years I can remember. I think there's a lot of love for the team, but I've seen no one opine that there aren't improvements to be made. I honestly can't recall anyone saying that. If anything, the bigger problems are those "anti-Joshers," who were vocal in their displeasure with the Bills drafting Allen ... and wishing Allen sucks so they can be right, rather than admitting that the Bills - and Allen - are actually pretty damn good
  3. You will not hear any kind of argument from me!
  4. I've had excellent luck with the Chinese wholesalers. Average jersey price is about $30. Fantastic quality, durable and very authentic-looking. I'll never buy the official stuff. I like my money too much.
  5. I agree 100%. He sucked complete ass on Saturday. But that's far from a trend. I was pissed, but I'm not concerned.
  6. I don't see how this looks tough based on this season: Home Miami - sucks New England - beatable New York Jets - sucks Kansas City - tough Los Angeles Chargers - sucks Los Angeles Rams - beatable Seattle - tough Pittsburgh - sucks Away Miami - sucks New England - beatable New York Jets - suck Arizona - suck Denver - suck San Francisco - tough Las Vegas - suck Indianapolis or Tennessee - Indy sucks; Tennessee beatable
  7. I'm not concerned about other sports for the purpose of this conversation.
  8. Look at youse two on the same page. And I agree with the bofe of you.
  9. No. Because that's not how the game is played/umped. How about this .... a human being sets up shop behind the catcher and calls balls/strikes? There. That settles it. This is just another way for MLB to generate more runs, which they think is "better for the game." The game is not too long. The umpiring is perfectly fine. We don't need more HRs. We don't need higher scores. The only change I want to see is netting down to the foul poles for fan safety. Other than that, LEAVE THE GODDAMN GAME ALONE. Toodles, CC.
  10. #1 .... in drops.
  11. But those 9 wins were solid.
  12. I consistently opined that Woods was the best WR on the team during his entire Buffalo tenure. I still believe it and I would LOVE to have him back.
  13. Do you know how to use Google?
  14. I can't say I dislike Klinghoffer; it's just crystal clear that John Frusciante is THE person who makes the Chili Peppers great. What I would love more than anything else to come from this reunion is a new album produced by Rick Rubin. Get some of that BSSM mojo back, baby!!
  15. I'll just call it the response you deserved.
  16. This thread is craptastic.
  17. Yeah, we want KC to win, for sure. I don't want the Bills playing them first.
  18. Yes ... in football.
  19. Here you go, Sue ... http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine
  20. Tom Brady and his six rings might be able to answer your question.
  21. 2592 games are played in the regular season. That's roughly 23,328 innings. That's a minimum of 139,968 batsmen (realistically, closer to 200K). If I see it 5 times/year watching all of the Mets' games, that's a lot. So, yes .... it is very uncommon.
  22. If a player knows that an ump doesn't care for him, then the player knows that he has to swing at anything that's close. It's that simple. Is it right for umps to hold grudges? No. Players hold grudges, too. They're human. It happens, but it's not common.
