  1. Boring? Unnecessarily conservative at times? Sure. But when a team clinches a playoff berth after 14 games played, I don't think anything they're doing can be considered ineffective. The play calls are usually not the reason the Bills are not scoring more points. The players on the field not executing the called plays have been the reason for low points scored more often than not. I've been very critical of Daboll from day one. But looking back, I have to admit that a lot of it is not his fault.
  2. My work's holiday party is Friday. I was contemplating getting a hotel room (party (and work) is about an hour from where I live). But since the Bills were scheduled for Saturday afternoon, I'm heavily leaning toward just being a good boy and driving home after the party. I want to take my time with the food prep and not have to feel like I'm rushing. I'd rather get home by midnight, have a good night's sleep, and do my normal game day routine.
  3. But seriously, now that I'm giving it more thought, Kim Pegula is easily one of the coolest sports (not just football) owners out there. Mark Cuban comes to mind as one I'd like to knock a few back with. I can't think of any other cool owners (I'm not counting Jeter (who is super cool), since he only has a 4% stake in the Marlins).
  4. This is very cool! Then again, I think anything Kim P., does is cool! As far as other owners, I can see Jim Irsay ripping lines off of hookers' asses with anyone who's game. But Kim's the coolest.
  5. I didn't read into it. I read it. And you'll need someone else to answer your questions.
  6. While I will never consider that "the Bills making the playoffs," it was a special moment that brought me to tears. And the outpouring of love (and money) by scores of Bills fans was even better. That was bigger than the Bills and bigger than football. Happy times, all around.
  7. See the above. That's not a question. One needs not be a grammar major to distinguish between a statement and a question. And yes ... bless your little heart ... you know what I'm getting at. I already got there and I'm done now.
  8. You stated (not questioned) that the Rooney Rule got Tomlin his HC job. The Rooney Rule is about opportunity. It's not about giving the colored folk jobs that the white people deserve.
  9. The Rooney Rule got Tomlin the interview; not the job. For the love of Allah. Did we time warp back to the 1950s???????????????
  10. The pants are blue; the jerseys are white. Since this forum is literally the only place that likes this uniform combo, can you provide links showing that literally everyone else hates it?
  11. But you're saying that the call was unintentional. I don't understand that. The ref has to go through a series of steps to call/enforce a penalty. I don't know how any of them can be unintentional. They have to see the penalty. They have to grab the flag. They have to throw the flag. They have to explain the penalty to the Umpire so it can be announced. How can all of those things happen unintentionally, especially when it was abundantly clear that no one's facemask was touched? Which part was unintentional?
  12. So we're looking at another coach picking his GM.
  13. I never understood the value of ypp. Bojo is 3rd in the league with 34 punts inside the 20. He's been inconsistent, but comparing him to Colquitt (who many TBDers wanted the Bills to get), he's had a much better season. Bojo has punted nearly twice as many times and they have nearly identical "opponents' return yards," for the season. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/stats.html?lg=NFL&yr=2019&type=reg&mode=U&conf=&limit=all&sort=puntin20
  14. Perhaps he has a picture of a 2017 AFC Championship Game ticket with the Jaguars' name on it.
  15. You are incorrect. The Rooney Rule was never specifically for African-Americans. It was created for "people of color," or "ethnic minorities." Welcome to the 21st century, Arch. And your attempts at humor, which I've highlighted in red, are nothing short of disgusting. Take that crap somewhere else, bigot.
  16. She's got a way about her I don't know what it is But I know that I can't live without her She's got a way of pleasin' I don't know what it is But there doesn't have to be a reason Anyway
  17. I'd give Brian Flores a nod for Honorable Mention. I think a 12-win season would have done it for McDermott. If I had a vote, I think I'd pick Harbaugh for being smart (and humble) enough to tailor his game planning around the players he HAS ON THE TEAM and not trying to force a square peg into a round hole.
  18. He did. I stand corrected.
  19. They sucked this year because they are still missing some pieces and started a rookie QB. As Levi and Dave stated, they have a generational RB, solid ownership and a built-in winning culture. Those things, alone, make the Giants the most attractive landing spot for a HC, in my opinion. Just look at the other teams with vacancies and ask yourself if they have all the things the Giants have. They don't.
  20. "Stop saying I look like Turbo!!!!!!"
  21. The offseason is long ... we shall see.
  22. I think it was dooshy, but I also don't blame him. He went from agreeing to take over a team with Andrew Luck at QB to taking the same team with Jacoby Brissett (or anyone else not named Andrew Luck). I can't say I blame him for running away.
  23. The NOOCH with a nice play on words!!! Bravo!
