  2. Beyond (any adjective). It's lazy and it's stupid. Find a better word/phrase to express yourself.
  3. Mmmm ... Anne Bancroft.
  4. Yes, indeed. And winners. It's all about winning. If Josh's lateral somehow ends up in Knox's hands and Knox goes all the way for a winning TD, then it becomes a risky play by a gutsy QB with great situational awareness. But instead, it's a stupid and unnecessary play (it really was), even though the Bills still tied the score on that drive ... before losing in OT. It's all about winning.
  5. "This ain't no Epstein Island."
  6. Catholic?
  7. I had to fire someone on the spot for this. She thought she hung up .. didn't. Proceeded to say what a B word the client was and what a pain in the ass ... on and on. This particular client had a direct line to someone WAY above me. I got a call. They said, "you need to terminate this person's employment now." Thirty minutes later, it was done. I ALWAYS hang up, then hit speaker to make sure there's a dial tone, THEN pick up the handset to make sure I get another dial tone ... then I vent.
  8. On our way to going up 16-0, Devin Singletary ran the ball 9 times for 45 yards. After going up 16-0, the play selection was 26 pass/5 run. If I did something that mind-numbingly stupid at my job, I'd be fired almost immediately.
  9. I don't think a rule is the answer. I think time is. I think, instead of focusing on dumb crap like what players are doing during a song, the sports media should spend more time digging into the hiring statistics/practices of all teams and report on that. Hiring practices will change eventually. Trying to force it with a rule, to me, is counterproductive. Give it time. Show the world - and the teams - with real statistics and stories, how practices need to change. With time, I think they will.
  10. I wonder if she's a natural blonde.
  11. Good for him. Best QB ever and it's not even up for debate. My only hope for him is that he ends his career healthy. I hope he sucks to the point of embarrassing himself and his entire family ... but I hope he can do that and literally walk away from the game on his terms.
  12. This looks like something a Patriots fan would write on a Patriots fan board. Something's not adding up.
  13. My God, what a wuss. Crying isn't part of the process.
  14. I think the message should come directly from you. You're a nice guy and have a comforting personality. I think you should tell her that you enjoy her visits. But gently remind her that it is a place of employment and it's how you make your living. Tell her that your secretaries have things to do while they're in the office and a quick "hello, how are ya," is one thing ... but an extended conversation can't be the norm. Tell her that, once in a while, there will be days where she can hang out longer than others. But that if there's work to be done, you or one of the girls is gonna have to tell her that they can't talk right now ... and ask her if she understands. This way, you're not being mean. You're not telling her to stop coming by. You're simply asking her to understand that moderation needs to be exercised. I think that will work and it will work best coming from you.
  15. Do you have a picture of her holding a fish?
  16. Brian Daboll and Sean McDermott, circa 1984.
  17. How could not one guy on that plane say yes?
  18. NFL Experience: one year as an assistant OL coach (Giants) in 2012. I'd be pissed if I were a Panthers fan.
  19. Quick time out: This is SOLID. Love, love, LOVE Traffic!!! Game on!!!
  20. Just as those in Washington, D.C. .... these are all feathers of the same bird.
  21. I think the only thing guaranteed in this situation would be getting swept by the Patriots again.
  22. This is where I am, too. It's where I was as soon as I saw the replay. I can't believe how many people think we got robbed.
