There is a chance that I may have mistaken another breed for a pit. It's really not sad, because all I do is politely avoid them. No harm, no foul. The only other species I feel similarly about is mustachioed men. They give me the creeps.

Well, luckily I carry a DNA analysis kit with me everywhere I go. If I'm unsure of a dog's breed, I can know its genetic make up within 2 short minutes. Any pit bull = me calmly going the other way.

Nope.

It makes it okay for me. It also makes me far more unlikely to be killed a pit bull. Answer to your question - YES.

All my life I've been searching for something Something never comes never leads to nothing Nothing satisfies but I'm getting close Closer to the prize at the end of the rope All night long I dream of the day When it comes around and it's taken away Leaves me with the feeling that I feel the most Feel it come to life when I see your ghost

I am legitimately afraid of pit bulls. If I see a pit bull, I go the other way very calmly. Even if it might be a mix, if it looks like a pit bull, I'm out. I realize that many, many people have pit bulls for years without incident. I love dogs. But I know I can't fake being comfortable around a pit bull and I always fear that if I go near one to pet it, that it will pick up on my fear and that could be "the trigger," for the dog to snap. I am convinced (I'm not saying I'm right, per se) that all the training, love, proper discipline and equipment cannot and will not prevent a pit bull from snapping and wrecking everything in its path.

Who Is Your Least Favorite Bill of All Time ... and Why?
Gugny replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will admit that once I decide I dislike a player, that my bias is clearly displayed. But I don't think I'm fabricating anything. Our offense under Tyrod was ranked similarly and it similarly did not score points when the Bills needed points. Amassing yards and scoring points is great as long as you're doing those things when it matters most. My bigger knock on Flutie is him as a person. I think he was a crappy team mate who really had no sense of team in him. You are correct, though …. I have trouble acknowledging anything good that he may have done on the field. Definitely guilty as charged. But I do honestly believe that he really didn't do much on the field, other than provide some excitement. I'd much rather have boring and scoring more points than the other team. As far as Johnson in TEN goes, I'm not saying he played great .. or even well. But he did leave the game with a lead. Lastly, the respect is mutual. Cheers! -

Star Gazing (after hours) in a New York State Park requires a permit

It's still too much money and NY sucks for a lot of reasons. -

You're welcome!!! This is part of the offseason! Maybin definitely sucked. But I've never held it against him. It was simply a horrible draft pick and Maybin had no control over it. But yes ... he was a bad (not Michael Jackson Bad) player! -
Do you have any statistics that show this?

Perhaps they want a former career backup to mentor a future career backup.

You can only remember back to middle school?

"Doug" won ten games like Tyrod got us to the playoffs and like Dilfer won a Super Bowl. Doug didn't win *****. -

They were both jokes. But the Bills were winning a playoff game when Rob Johnson left the field. He did his job. -
I just read the latest Sam Watkins thread. Man, I couldn't stand that lazy piece of crap. But my least favorite Bill of all time, hands down, is Doug Flutie. Why? He was a me-first, selfish player and a horrible teammate who divided the locker room. A pompous, arrogant ass who had minimal talent. People thought he was "a winner." He was not a winner. He was a QB with a top 3 defense who underperformed on offense, which led to the Bills doing nothing during his tenure. Who is YOUR least favorite Bill and why do you feel that way?

Star Gazing (after hours) in a New York State Park requires a permit
Gugny replied to Beast's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I just think it would have made better sense to call it an after hours parking permit, then have clearly stated rules (NOT to dos), rather than specifying that it's for star gazing. But, then again, I can see how specifying that it's for star gazing would, by definition, prohibit anything other than star gazing if that's their goal. -
Now I know your last name. Buckle up.

That was my first thought, too, so I verified. As opposed to responsible, like throwing chicken wings into a vat of hot oil after 8 hours of drinking?

At first, I tried to make sense of it as just an, "after sunset parking permit," which it's framed as on the NYS Govt site. But it also explicitly specifies, "for stargazing only." I'm seriously at a loss for words.
