  1. I've never been to Costco or TJ's.
  2. I interpret it as activating a nobody backup interior d-lineman who might HAVE to play vs. activating McCoy, who they will likely not need.
  3. Is it a lack of screen plays being called, or is it a lack of Allen checking down when it makes sense? I'm not saying it's one or the other ... I'm actually asking the question. I don't know how many times teams call screen plays as the first option vs. asking the QB to check down as a second option.
  4. It's a completely different taste than a homemade chili (mine, anyway). But it's got its place and it does taste very good, in my opinion. Perfect for chili cheese fries. Hormel's is good. It's just meat and beans; nothing fancy. Campbell's makes a hearty chili which is also very good. Think of it like a cheap frozen pizza. Not as good as your favorite pizza joint, but in some scenarios, it hits the spot and is perfect.
  5. How about when Sam Watkins demanded at least 10 targets/game .... before a game during which he was watching from the sideline in civilian clothes? That guy.
  6. Have you looked into Salesforce? The process you're describing is similar to that of our Client Services team, as well as our largest client. They use it to identify "cases" or "transactions" that are either (simplifying, here) open or closed. They're able to add data for cases that are open, schedule systematic reminders and their managers are able to run reports to show who's doing what, as well as identify any cases that have been open for too long. I've used Sharepoint and Salesforce, but I've only scratched the surface as far as what they're capable of. I find them BOTH to be a major pain in the ass, but that's more likely something between my chair and my keyboard.
  7. Homemade Jalapeno Poppers - https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/20858/best-ever-jalapeno-poppers/ - I've made them before and this recipe is solid. Chicken wing dip - using real chicken breast and not canned. ALWAYS used canned and went to make some a few months ago and realized I was out of canned chicken. Threw a couple breasts into the oven and man .... what a significant difference. Once you go real, you never go back! Chili/Cheese fries. - Gonna use the canned Hormel chili. It's just perfect for chili cheese fries and will cut down on time. Beef on Weck - Not gonna actually do a roast and slice it. Just gonna go to the deli and get some of their best roast beef sliced more thickly than I'd get if it were for regular sandwiches. But the salt and caraway seeds are ready to "roll!" Pizza - I am going back and forth on this one. Every year, I miss commercials and parts of the game because I'm busy in the kitchen. Every year, I say, "I'm ordering pizzas next year." Every year, I end up making two pizzas and missing commercials and parts of the game. I think I'll stick to my original thought and just order a pie or two. But I DO have enough of that pepperoni left to do cup and char ............... hmmm ............ Beverages - I'll grab a 12-pack of Sierra Nevada Torpedos and an 18-pack of Labatt Light. Start with the high octane, then settle down with the Labatt's. Cheers!!!!!!
  8. I don't recall any Super Bowl teams coming out flat for a quarter or a half. Do you have an example?
  9. Generally speaking, I agree with you. But stuff happens. I was walking my dog (puggle named Chloe) through my neighborhood. Suddenly, a golden retriever escaped the back yard of a neighbor and ran straight for my dog. Chloe immediately went to her back and the dog was snarling and trying to bite her. Instinctively, I reached down and snatched Chloe up and the dog started to go after me. That's when her owner came to get his dog. No one was hurt, but that prick (a doctor) never once apologized. All that said, I'd never hesitate to approach a golden and if I was ever to own another dog, I'd be fine with one.
  10. Damn. It isn't. Sorry for the fake news!
  11. I think she's doing a fine job.
  12. Wait. Aaron Boone is Pat Mahomes' father??????????????
  13. He was raised by a NY Met. What do you expect?
  14. I was gifted a box of Flutie Flakes many years ago. It promptly found its way into the garbage.
  15. After all these years, I think this is the first I'm learning that you're on the right side of this argument!!
  16. So, how long have you worked at Duff's?
  17. Personally, the wings I've gotten there have always been perfectly cooked and sauced, the bartenders have always been friendly and attentive and the service has always been stellar. I also think the beef on weck is top notch.
  18. Frank Gore is an absolute class act. I loved when we signed him. I still think it was a fantastic (and the right) move and I'm very happy that this relationship with Singletary remains solid.
  19. Yeah, week 17 was a throwaway game. I think if we'd beaten NE (once) and BAL, I'd have been behind McD to win 100%. And that was close to happening (and should have). I also think Shanny is very deserving.
  20. If I had a vote, I'd go with Harbaugh. McDermott has (in my opinion) done a very good job with his "process," and we started to see the fruits of it this past season. However ... a 10-win season with that schedules is on the unimpressive side. The team was inconsistent for much of the season. I think he deserves consideration and it's right that he's a finalist. I'm still glad that he's the coach. But Harbaugh simply did a better job. He recognized what he had (and didn't have) in Lamar Jackson and he built a team and an offensive identity around Jackson's skillset. Ego went out the door. They were the best team in the regular season and that is primarily because Harbaugh didn't try to make Jackson something that he isn't.
  21. I'd rather pet a pit bull than shake Flutie's hand.
