Anyone ever ship something by freight?
Gugny replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Is that being tugged or towed? @Cripple Creek @BringBackFergy -
Because it happened in the deep south.

Rewatching the ravens game tonight
Gugny replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Daboll's play-calling killed any chance at winning the game. Passing 39 times with a pretty ineffective Allen, whilst only running the ball 23 times in a game where Singletary was (as usual) averaging over 5 YPC, was stupid. Baltimore was clearly the better coached team. Just like they were all season. -
Rewatching the ravens game tonight
Gugny replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Ravens game is not only a game that we could have won; it's a game that we should have won. I need to stop clicking links about these kinds of games. Dammit, John!! -
Hi, Nate! Welcome to the board! When you swim now, do you go in circles? Do people call you NASCAR?

I'm not impressed with Tre White's team mates doing nothing. -
Well the night's begun and you want some fun Do you think you're gonna find it (think you're gonna find it) You got to treat yourself like number one Do you need to be reminded (need to be reminded) It doesn't matter what you do or say Just forget the things that you've been told We can't do it any other way Everybody's got to rock n roll Shout it, shout it, shout it out loud Shout it, shout it, shout it out loud

Clicking that link was disappointing in so many ways.

Dallas 175 million 5 year offer to Prescott
Gugny replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm all for Dak getting paid and I think it makes sense for him to seek a 4 year deal. I'm just pointing out that it's a bit of a slap in the face to tens of millions of unemployed US citizens right now to see a billionaire and a millionaire fighting over a $175 million football contract. -
Dallas 175 million 5 year offer to Prescott
Gugny replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At the same time 38.6 million Americans are collecting unemployment. Great optic, eh? -
Can you share the details of this study? That number seems very high.

Who do you have for live entertainment (music)? Will they need to sing through N95s?

COVID-19 - Facts and Information Only Topic
Gugny replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, so if it's not, please delete. I think it's relevant because it shows how much misinformation is out there and we all know how dangerous that can be. I hesitated posting this because it has the potential to go to the dark side. I'm hoping that doesn't happen. Researchers: Nearly Half Of Accounts Tweeting About Coronavirus Are Likely Bots https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/05/20/859814085/researchers-nearly-half-of-accounts-tweeting-about-coronavirus-are-likely-bots Researchers culled through more than 200 million tweets discussing the virus since January and found that about 45% were sent by accounts that behave more like computerized robots than humans. It is too early to say conclusively which individuals or groups are behind the bot accounts, but researchers said the tweets appeared aimed at sowing division in America. "We do know that it looks like it's a propaganda machine, and it definitely matches the Russian and Chinese playbooks, but it would take a tremendous amount of resources to substantiate that," said Kathleen Carley, a professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University who is conducting a study into bot-generated coronavirus activity on Twitter that has yet to be published. Researchers identified more than 100 false narratives about COVID-19 that are proliferating on Twitter by accounts controlled by bots. Among the misinformation disseminated by bot accounts: tweeted conspiracy theories about hospitals being filled with mannequins or tweets that connected the spread of the coronavirus to 5G wireless towers, a notion that is patently untrue. -

Inside Cornelius Bennett’s exclusion from the Wall of Fame
Gugny replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Football is a game. Crimes like sexual assault and murder end, ruin and change lives for multiple victims. Get a ***** grip. Celebrating murderers, sex offenders and woman beaters is stupid. What someone does on the field is immediately null and void when they are found guilty or liable of such crimes. I hope the Pegulas eventually have a tad of class and remove #32 from the wall ... and that they keep scum like Bennett off of it. Football is a goddamn game. -
Folz, thank you for this. I love the numbers to state your case and you are absolutely right, my friend. Everything you said is spot on. Franchise guy? No. Journeyman starter? Yes. And what makes him, in my opinion, a step above the rest .... he's always known his place. He's never caused drama. He's always been the consummate team player. He's always taken full advantage of the opportunities he's been given, but he's never gone out of his way to CREATE those opportunities. A pure class act. And to your point ... a legitimate starter throughout his career. Cheers, brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good point, thank you!
