I'd really love to see McDermott keep it out of the media. Whether a player or coach chooses to kneel or stand - that is their choice. Not knowing them, I won't judge them. I will, however, respect their right to choose. In the future, I'd like to see them keep the anthem out of the pregame ceremonies. It's relatively new. It is for show, anyway. Just get rid of it. Play it while the players are still in the locker room, or don't play it at all. It's a football game.

This sucks; sorry to hear it. I haven't pulled a hamstring since high school football, but I don't ever remember the pain going all the way down to may calf, nor do I remember visible bruising. Hoping one of the resident docs checks in, but this sounds like more than a pulled hammy. Good luck, Pete!

All the hip young things trying to make a scene Living out forbidden dreams Star spangled banner flutters in the sky Time hustles those who wait to die Come on little honey Come on now, please Come on little honey and dance with me Sweet soul sister Keep on pushing till the dawn, well Sweet soul sister Forever dancing on and on

Time, time time, see what's become of me While I looked around for my possibilities I was so hard to please Don't look around The leaves are brown And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

Yeah, the Cult has been going for a while. Not sure how long they even stopped. I last saw them at the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, NY back in 2016. The venue is basically a big bar. Wasn't too long after that they were in South America (I believe) playing for gigantic crowds. I think we got lucky and got them on a dress rehearsal. One of their former bassists, Chris Wyse, is actually from Clifton Park. He wasn't playing with them at the time, so I have no idea what brought them to such a hole in the wall venue in upstate NY. But I wasn't complaining!!! A Waters/Gilmour reunion is my dream. Like you said ... very unlikely, but it IS still possible. Nothing would keep me from seeing them if it is ever to happen.

Absolutely must give credit where it's due. The kid had a phenomenal regular season and no one can take that away from him. But .. for the second consecutive year, a top-notch defense in the playoffs made him look silly. He is too limited and too predictable. Baltimore had one shot to win it all with him and they blew it. Window closed.

Agreed. I don't think any team will ever win a Super Bowl with Lamar Jackson as their starting QB.

Bills Top the League in Player Continuity
Gugny replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My biggest question is their HC hire. We know all too well what a talented team can (or cannot) do with a crappy HC. -
My intentions .. as always ... were good. My heart was in the right place! I'm misunderstood! I'm sick .. I need help!

Man, is this ugly for Carolina. 47% retention and an out of his league rookie HC with a first year (with the team) starting QB. Ouch. -
Make sure you're off the Zoom meeting before doing something else

With due respect, there is a ton of Jimi Hendrix material out there and my assumption is that you haven't listened to very much of it. These lists are always silly, but they generate discussion, so I'm cool with it. Brian May knows he's not even close to Hendrix. I am a Brian May/Queen fan, too. After decades of having these discussions, I've firmly nailed down my top 2: Hendrix and SRV. It's always been difficult for me to "lock in" my choice for the GOAT ... but it's usually Jimi. I do agree that we missed out on tons of brilliance due to his early passig. During the last Experience Hendrix tour, I was able to see Joe Satriani absolutely KILL (in a good way) some of Jimi's more rocking tunes. A buddy of mine didn't like it. Wondered why someone like Satriani was even there. I loved it. I think, had Hendrix lived, he'd have been Satriani before Satriani became Satriani.

Awesome call on Snoop. If I do a 2.0, he'll definitely be on it. I had Barkley on my original list, but replaced him. He'll make my 2.0, as well!
