If it was a group of black men who did the same thing, they would all be dead right now and the police would be heroes.

Yes, because things that happened 200 years ago are PERFECTLY RELEVANT to what's happening today. Get a grip. No one has the right to carry killing machines and force their way into a building ... let alone a government office. Give me a break with "lawfully and peacefully." It was neither.

Those rednecks were even MORE dangerous and should have been arrested. That was a disgusting display and - again - nothing but bravado. It was gross and it does not represent the America that I once loved.
-
The held their big, bad guns and posed while people looted behind them. They weren't there to save the day. They were there to show off their toys and to feel tough. Bringing a gun to a protest is one thing and one thing only: stupid. And their need for bravado has NOTHING to do with race, which seems to be what you're hung up on. Racist against white people. Now THAT is cute. Bless your little heart. Lastly, I will not expose myself. I swear to Allah, you gun nuts all have some weird kinks. Did you know Lady G., owns an AR-15?

It is not okay for a bunch of rednecks to show up to a "protest" with killing machines under the guise of "protecting business owners," because the police "weren't doing their jobs." I don't care if they were holding Daisy bb guns. It's not how our country works. They were there to intimidate people and to show off their fancy weaponry, which they likely bought because they have innies for *****. The fact that no one was hurt means absolutely nothing. We do not live in the wild, wild west. We do not live (legally) in a vigilante society. And I'll lastly point out that those big, tough rednecks with their killing machines stopped exactly zero people from breaking the law. Just a bunch of wusses with guns. That is not the America that I served for and it is not the Constitution that I served to protect. What it is .. is a bunch of rednecks flexing their muscles and doing exactly nothing to help exactly no one.

I'm sure he's a real cut-up when he has a few in him. -
"Have a beer with," can be substituted with "hang out with," if you're not a beer drinker. People on your list must be alive when you write it. For the purposes of this thread, I'm talking about celebrities or people you're VERY unlikely to ever have an opportunity to hang with. Okay, fine. I'll go first: President Barack Obama Mark Cuban Paul McCartney Ryan Fitzpatrick President George W. Bush

Is now the time to remove OJ Simpson from the wall of fame and HOF?

It's just that forehead tattoo. Other than that, I ain't got no beef with him. -

There is a difference between acknowledgement and support/celebration. I can easily acknowledge that OJ Simpson is the greatest running back in Buffalo Bills history. I can also acknowledge that Charlie Manson wrote a few good songs and had a nice voice. I can also acknowledge that the education system under Castro showed great improvements in his country. I'd never support or celebrate Manson or Castro. And I feel the same way about Simpson for the same reason. -

Which actions of Castro did Kaep support? I think Kaep mentioned that Castro/Cuba made great strides with regard to education ... and that was it. (it is also true) And Colin Kaepernick is responsible for exactly zero human deaths. He refused to stand for a ***** song. OJ Simpson turned his ex-wife into a human Pez dispenser and murdered her friend. But yeah ... let's call them equal. -

I think murder is an "issue," that should cross anyone's line. But that's just me. -

Once again, don is the only one bringing up Antifa with absolutely NOTHING to back it up. Such a scumbag. -

Your question is "Remove OJ? Keep OJ?" and the choices are yes or no. It's way too early in the morning for riddles. I'll vote when it's framed properly. But my vote is to remove him from the wall immediately. The Hall of Fame is full of scumbags. I personally don't care what they do. But the Pegulas should have some class and get his ass off of that wall so they stop celebrating a murderer.- 238 replies

Goodell Admits NFL Was Wrong Not to Listen
Gugny replied to K-9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Personally, I think it's pretty clear that the only person who said Antifa was involved, initially, was that piece of crap living in the white house. After that the far-right sect of his "cult of stupidity" sprang into action to "back it up." But that's just my opinion. -

I don't think he's disputing that violence and damage occurred. I think he's disputing that Antifa were involved. -

If I'm paying $1000 for a pair, they better belong to Kate Upton. -
All great points and yes - those whose businesses were destroyed/looted are unnecessary victims. I firmly believe there are people who want to protest and people who want to steal/destroy things. I don't believe very many are the same people. It's all very sad.

Goodell Admits NFL Was Wrong Not to Listen
Gugny replied to K-9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any human being with a properly functioning brain, a heart and a set of balls would say, "eff protocol, this man could be dying." Walking past/over him was a pathetic display, no matter how anyone wants to slice it or hide it behind "protocol." -
Here in Glens Falls (pop. 15,000), that's exactly what happened. Over 2,000 gathered at Crandall Park, which is in the center of "downtown," then police cars escorted them on a walk down Glen Street, which is the main street in the city (plenty of alternate routes that would add minimal time). Police also walked with them (not as participants, per se). It was 100% peaceful with no arrests or drama of any kind. I think the pre-planning and the fact that the police didn't show up with riot gear are THE reasons a crowd that big was able to pull off a perfectly peaceful, non-disruptive protest.

Shaq Lawson weighs in about some of our QBs.
Gugny replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All I know is that if I played in the NFL, I would not want Shaq Lawson as a teammates of mines. -
Yep. And more power to them!!
