As a youngster (8 or 9) sharing a bedroom with my older brother, I spent a lot of time listening to the Red and Blue albums. I distinctly remember, "Help!" being one of the songs that really sucked me in. Great, great stuff.

Dawson Knox trained with George Kittle in offseason

I think that's a fair assessment, but I think modern day players keep the "killer instinct," so to speak between the sidelines and only during the game. I'm cool with that. -

And with all that's gone on in the history of the NFL, you'd think that teams would learn that when you draft/sign scumbag, thug criminals, that no matter how much money you give them, they will not change. -

I think it's a logical theory. Right out of the gate, Josh formed a tight bond with Darnold. That bothered a lot of people (here), but I've thought it was awesome from day one. I think, in addition to the passion for the game that you pointed out, it's also a sign of maturity. -

Is it me, or do the Bills do more training with other teams' players now than they ever did? Not sure if this is something that's always been commonplace, but I don't recall hearing as much about it in past years. Personally, I love it. -
I'm not saying that being an NFL player means you're dumb. The league is loaded with smart dudes. But, being the smart man that YOU are, there is no goddamn way that you believe that all of these guys get into college legitimately qualifying for entry. Me? I call it like I see it. There is not a chance in hell that someone who can't put together a complete sentence in his mother tongue had the grades necessary to get into/graduate from any college.

I don't think a complete separation is the answer. I do, however, think that student-athletes should be accepted into school by the same criteria all other students are. And I think some sort of D league for those who can't get into school for academic reasons, but have pro-level athletic talent. It's a win-win for the athlete and for the scholar who might otherwise be on the outside looking into the school that had no room for them.

Biggest weakness: Doesn't have an Offensive Coordinator who designs an offense based on Allen's strengths (and weaknesses).

I took them down tonight. One nest was empty. That one went into the garbage. The other one had an egg in it, but I think it's an old egg. I left it out, but not hanging.

In Honor of National Chicken Wing Day - Drums or Flats?
Gugny replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in Off the Wall Archives
With flats, I hold it by one end and put the entire flat in my mouth so it lays flat on my tongue. Then I lightly clench my teeth and pull it out. Top and bottom teeth grab the most of the chicken off of both sides of the flat. Then I snap it with the twist and pull method and clean the bones off. It's the best way, IMO, to get the most meat at once. Eating it with the "little corn on the cob" method will just get little pieces of meat at a time. Eff that! My method gets most of the meat and most of the flavor with one pull! -
Did it slip your mind?

I've actually got a problem with juncos this year. I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but they've nested in both of my hanging baskets. So I've got two dead hanging baskets hanging in my porch. Sure the neighbors are loving that as they walk by, LOL. But they are MEAN bastards. I can't use my porch. They attack. And now they seem to have nested in the back, where I do my grilling. I haven't been attacked out back, yet - but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
