  1. I was just thinking about Beane creating a culture of accountability. When he screwed the pooch by going into a season with Peterman starting and rookie Allen as the backup, he came out and admitted he effed up and he made better decisions moving forward. Great to see that from players. It's missing from two people ... McDermott and Daboll. They have yet to admit/own when they eff up. But this is a Knox thread, so I'm going to get back on topic. I think Knox will fix this issue and be a force for years to come.
  2. It's just another example of Daboll not designing an offense that takes advantage of the strengths of the players on the roster. But instead, designing an offense then expecting the players on the roster to execute the plays, regardless of their strengths/weaknesses. It's simply not what successful coaches do. But yes ... there's a lot of upside with Knox and being consistent with catching the easy ones will make him a top notch TE with all the goods.
  3. This is all fine and dandy. I love Knox and think he can/will be great. My question is this: Since every Bills fan saw the problem, I think it's safe to say that McDermott and Daboll realized what the problem was. So .... why the ***** did they keep throwing it to him with Sweeney and, to an extent, Kroft and Smith? At some point, one would think that one of them would say, "this ain't working. Let's just throw the tough sideline passes to him and leave the over the middle stuff to Sweeney." Anyway, I do believe Knox will fix this and be a force for years to come.
  4. I love that these young QBs (the real ones; not Chad Kelly) are having fun. Great for football.
  5. Well, I mean, the OP pretty clearly defined the parameters. As a law-abiding citizen, I believe in following rules. Are you an anarchist? You're starting to make me nervous.
  6. Oh, don't get me wrong ... I think the thread was worth creating!! But Chad Kelly is a friggin' joke and a true scumbag. I can't believe people are still interviewing him.
  7. Won't this a-hole ever go away?
  8. I've gone to the TB12 website just to see what it says. It really doesn't claim to cure anything. It's just like the over the counter snake oil sold in hundreds of GNC stores.
  9. I get that and I don't judge STH. If I lived closer, I'd have them. But I still don't think it's any different than Brady selling these products to those who believe in them.
  10. Personally, I think they are alive and well. Like you, however, my mailbox does not agree. Over the past few years, I, like you have given gifts/money for grads, newborns, weddings, etc. ONE thank you note (and it was recent). I bought some things on my friend/his wife's registry for their newborn (first baby). Got the thank you card in under a month. His wife wrote a note on the left; he wrote a note on the right. Personalized. Not just "thank you for the lovely gift," which I'd be fine with. But a small paragraph, each. Other than that? NADA.
  11. Unfortunately, I have had WAY too many friends, co-workers and/or loved ones take their own lives. It's not a subject I take lightly, so please don't think that I am. But I find it odd that someone would opine that the lockdown caused their friend to commit suicide - and then follow it with the opinion that those who've died from Covid-19 were gonna die "in a few months," anyway.
  12. Listen, if @ExiledInIllinois and I both GFO at the same time, people are gonna talk. I don't need that kind of drama in my life.
  13. You're blaming Governor Cuomo for your friend's suicide? I don't think that's how that works. Frankly, I find it ridiculous.
  14. There is no difference at all. Tom Brady is selling a product that most people realize is crap, but there are enough people who believe in it enough to spend money on it. Now say that sentence and replace Brady's name with Ralph's. He certainly didn't try to build a better product. And Pegula is still on the hook for the Ryan Bros. debacle. That will never go away. Am I hopeful and confident about the future? YES. VERY. But let's face it ... last season was the first decent season since Pegula bought the team. Prior to that, it wasn't pretty.
  15. I'm gonna take a freight train, down at the station I don't care where it goes Gonna climb me a mountain, the highest mountain Jump off, nobody gonna know Can't you see oh can't you see What that woman, she been doin' to me Can't you see, can't you see What that woman lord been doin' to me
  16. Well, they've put a crap product on the field (mostly Ralph) for the majority of the team's existence and people keep buying season tickets. I don't see the diffrence.
  17. All aboard! Crazy, but that's how it goes Millions of people living as foes Maybe it's not too late To learn how to love and forget how to hate Mental wounds not healing Life's a bitter shame I'm going off the rails on a crazy train
  18. This is as relevant as being a cop or a vet. I am a vet. I am also a former local musician who spent about 20 years playing in bars with a bunch of drunks. There is no excuse for vile, demeaning, disrespectful, intimidating behavior toward women. It's a shame you disagree.
  19. Sorry for your loss. How did the lockdown kill your friend?
  20. Well, on a train, I met a dame She rather handsome, we kind looked the same She was pretty, from New York City I'm walking down that old fair lane I'm in heat, I'm in love But I just couldn't tell her so I said, train kept a-rolling all night long Train kept a-rolling all night long Train kept a-rolling all night long Train kept a-rolling all night long With a heave, and a ho
  21. I am now looking at this on my work laptop and I see white and gold. I also slid it over to my other monitor and also see white and gold. WTF.
