I'm actually with ScottLaw on this one. I've been concerned about McDermott's a) inability to beat winning teams and b) propensity to get blown out for a while, now. I did not like how the Bills limped into the playoffs last year. I do not like when teams take their foot off the gas after clinching. Winning 10 games last year was borderline pathetic with that schedule and it bothers me to this day. And don't even get me started on how the roster was managed leading up to the playoffs and how the players were (mis)used in the playoff loss. This will be a telling year, for sure. I'm optimistic - more so than I can remember. But it's cautious optimism.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I'm a little nervous about the close bond that Josh Allen and Sam Darnold have formed. Not that either would purposely let any cats out of the bag, but I worry that with the time spent together, SOMETHING must have been shared. Not to mention, there's a price for anything/everything and Jordan Palmer could make a ton of money giving inside info to his clients' opponents.

I, too, chose the Steelers. I agree that Ben's health is obviously the key. I think the blueprint has been written (primarily by the Bills) for how to stop a Lamar Jackson-led offense and we see significant regression.

What puzzles me (kind of, but not really) is how he was the "most pro ready" QB in the class according to pretty much all of the analysts. Normally, when that's the case, it turns out to be true (P. Manning, Newton, Luck, etc.). His problems are clearly work ethic, attitude and the inability to lead. He's a douche and it was clear he was a douche during the entire draft process. Going into the draft, I said I'd be happy with "either Josh." But after we drafted Allen and especially after watching/listening to Rosen during/after the draft, I was immediately in the "thank GOD we drafted Josh."
