  1. Is this where I'm supposed to bring up your property taxes?
  2. I think you're being kind to the 49ers and - yes - the Bills.
  3. After scoring 6 3Q points against the stingy Jets defense on Sunday, the Buffalo Bills stand at 31st in the league with an average of 1.9 3Q points; the only team worse is Chicago (average of 1). They did seem to make adjustments on both sides of the ball, which was nice to see. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/3rd-quarter-points-per-game?date=2020-10-27
  4. Losing against the Pats* would be a tough pill to swallow and definitely up there with "most disappointing," during McDermott's tenure. Looking at the bigger picture - getting manhandled in back-to-back weeks vs., TEN and KC, followed by a game in which the offense failed to score one TD against the worst team in the NFL .... if that's followed by a loss to a depleted NE team, I'm letting serious doubt creep in about McDermott's ability to take this team to the next level.
  5. Collinsworth can bring some good insight. But his voice really gets on my nerves and he fellates the QBs du jour far too much and too blatantly. I hope Romo never gives in to that crap, because right now he's at the top of the game Aikman never really bugged me, but this year I find him really difficult to listen to.
  6. Dude, I haven't seen you around here in years! How ya been?
  7. Translation: "I really like the guy, but if we can get a 7th round pick for him, his ass is gone."
  8. I don't know, man. I still think the Bar Bill Tavern has the best wings. No idea how you can think Duffs' are better, but to each his own!!!
  9. Would there be any possible way for one to appreciate any commercial without actually watching it?
  10. In 1991, I was in the Navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA. At the time, I was a very casual football fan. Kind of liked the Browns, but that was really just because my best buddy in high school was a Broncos fan and there was a rivalry. Fast forward to the Bills/Giants Super Bowl. I was at a friend's house and I figured, "hey .. there's two NY (kind of) teams playing, so I'm gonna flip a coin. If it lands heads, I'm rooting for Buffalo. Tails - I root for the Giants. And from this point forward, I will stick with that team forever." Heads it was. And here I am.
  11. Starting next week, would you mind taking the time to put these in a particular order, please?
  12. I think I feel sorry for him because I've watched the Bills ruin multiple QBs over the years.
  13. I'm sure Darnold is ready to move on from the Jets, too. I feel bad for that dude.
  14. What's weird is how you're digging your heels in. I feel I speak for the entire board when I say you were wrong ... admit it ... move on.
  15. Can you ask Tre White how the new contract somehow made him forget how to play football?
  16. Holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I often wonder how any person who defends this kind of scum can sleep at night. It's sad when "winning a case," is more important than putting a monster like this behind bars. I agree with @thenorthremembers, his attorney is just as much of a scumbag as Stubblefield is.
  17. Admittedly, I am far from an expert when it comes to defenses and where players play. My questions: Is this a Frazier problem or is it a McDermott problem? And/or - is this a Beane problem because we don't have the right (or right kinds of) players on the roster? Thank you!
  18. He has FANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! That ain't good.
  19. I agree with nearly everything you wrote. The only thing I disagree with is that he is a decent coordinator. He's dirty. He coaches players to play dirty, whether there is a bounty involved, or not. I don't think he has any place in the NFL and I think it's disgraceful that he's employed in any capacity He's bad for the game.
  20. I'm more of a YYZ guy, myself.
  21. 100% of the time.
  22. I agree with retaliation for a scum move like Utley's. He never got it, though. Nor did pedo-Clemens for hitting Piazza on the NY of his helmet. If either of those things happened in the 80s, it wouldn't have taken Davey Johnson to say a word. Both would have paid and rightfully so.
  23. The egregiously dirty slide by Utley, as well as ANYtime a pitcher throws a pitch with the intent of hitting the batter in the head (Clemens (cheater/child molester) vs. Piazza (Hall of Famer), have always been the exception and not the rule. They have not, and should never be, part of baseball.
