  1. I remember, like yesterday, @Joe in Winslow saying, "PLEASE, GOD, DON'T LET BEANE PICK METCALF!!!!" Man, was he wrong.
  2. I think this is true .... now. And I totally get it/agree. He's the most famous Bill and people want his opinion. But you have to admit, there was a pretty good stretch of post-retirement years in which Kelly, Thurman and Andre were all over the place. That got annoying to me.
  3. I've been saying the same for years. At least Thurman and Andre finally STFU. Kelly "won't say 100%?" Who ***** cares? He had his chance. It's Josh's team now, whether Kelly endorses him or not.
  4. I think coordinating a team workout offsite after the facility was closed is enough for the league to say the Titans' irresponsibility is the cause of the schedule changes. I believe I heard on the radio this morning that the Bills would have been facing the Chiefs playing 3 games in 11 days. I'm not sure if that's correct, but regardless, this is a clear advantage to both the Chiefs and the Titans. I think the Titans should have to forfeit Sunday's game AND pay the Bills players' salaries for the game. Like him or hate him, Bill Belichick did it right. HE was the one who chose to close their facilities and I'm damn sure he told his players not to get cute (stupid) and go rogue.
  5. Perhaps you should teach your kids that LGBTQ isn't about sex, since - you know - it's not.
  6. She sings a song andI listen to what it says:If you want a friendFeed any animal...There was so much spaceI cut me a pieceWith some fine wineIt brought peace to my mindIn the summertime...And it rolled
  7. Got it bad, soooooooo bad .....
  8. Like I'd ever watch that without you. I remember the pact.
  9. A busted one.
  10. I believe (I'm pretty sure I heard it discussed on espn radio shortly after this happened) league rules prohibit lawsuits between members of the same team.
  11. I, too, was confused at any criticism he received based on last year's performance. I'm pretty sure he was a top 3 return man in the entire league. He's already been a difference maker this season. Love the guy.
  12. I had some difficulty with Yahoo Sports all week. I could log in, I could see the standings, etc. But once I went to make picks, it wouldn't let me click on any teams or hyperlinks on the page. I was using Chrome, which I always do. I switched over to IE and it finally worked. Not sure if anyone else has encountered similar issues.
  13. 100% agree. This is the mistake MLB made with the Marlins. They should have just forfeited any game they couldn't field a team for. I hope the NFL learns from the MLB's mistakes.
  14. I brought my son to the Play it Loud exhibit at the Met in Manhattan last year. It was awesome. Lots of Hendrix, SRV, Page, EVH guitars and amps. Many others from loads of the most famous guitarists of all time. If it ever comes close to where you are, I highly suggest it. https://www.metmuseum.org/press/exhibitions/2019/play-it-loud
  15. This is a great idea. If the game goes to overtime, would Andre Roberts be able to fair catch the ball on 2nd base?
  16. This might be an entirely different thread. Between this and boys swimming in the nude for gym ( @ExiledInIllinois), what the hell was going on in high schools in central/western NY back then??
  17. This is a great read and I appreciate the time and work you put into it. Go Bills!
  18. I was a huge VH fan at the time of the breakup and subsequent release of 5150. I was pissed. I refused to listen to the album for about a year. Long story, short - I caved. I listened. I loved it. I loved OU812 and F.U.C.K. All great albums. What I realized is that they were two completely different bands. There wasn't any need to compare the two. Both eras/lineups made fantastic music and their albums were completely different. My VH II mood is far different than my 5150 mood. But whichever one I'm in the mood for, when I listen, I'm in my glory. The most important common denominator is the man we're remembering today.
