Perhaps they'd be worth more if you stopped sitting on them (which I find kind of weird, but I'm not here to judge). They're probably getting all bent and smelly.

Josh Allen. Joy to the Bills World! Sing the Praises!

I REALLY want to believe that something is going to click with this kid. But man .... I'm losing hope every week. There isn't one thing he does well on a consistent basis and he has shown literally zero improvement since he joined the league - which is my biggest concern. No growth or progress.

Last time I found Jesus like this, it was after spending 30 days in the hole for celebrating National Hank Williams Jr. Coming Out Day. -
I, too, was a huge Jones Jr., fan back in the day. For this fight, it looked like he knew damn well he wanted no piece of Tyson. As another poster mentioned above, he hugged Tyson a lot. It was nearly the entire fight. If he'd tried going toe-to-toe with Tyson, it would have gone very badly, very quickly. It was still fun to watch and the decision meant nothing to me going in, so the clearly bogus "draw," didn't bug me a bit. Re: working the body, I think it was both by design and by necessity. He could not separate himself from Jones. I imagine that if this were a real fight that a) the ref would have done much more to keep Jones off of Tyson (physically separating, penalizing) and/or b) Tyson would have done what he had to do, i.e. push Jones away, nail him below the belt, etc., in order to create his own separation. But those body shots were punishing. I think if they were 3 minute rounds, Tyson would have at least knocked Jones down by the 6th or 7th round.

Please post it again.

Unfortunately, I'm not a season ticket holder who attends every home game, so I'm not a real Bills fan. Therefore, I don't get angry enough to break anything.

A Few Thoughts About the Chargers Game, in no particular order

Hey, Virg. -
With the undercards and the Tyson/Jones fight, I am happy with my purchase. I did not like all of the rap music between fights, but I am a big Snoop Dogg fan and loved his commentary. Seeing Tyson back in the ring was the icing on the cake.

I wish it was a typo. Slater.
-
So far (20 minutes in) it's been Slater and live rap music. I should be punished for paying for this *****.

I bought one of those when they first came out years ago. I still feel like a white trash scumbag to this day.

It does NOT feel like it's been a year since the last one of these threads. Time flies.

That nose .... it looks familiar, but I can't place it.

https://nypost.com/2020/11/26/100k-raised-for-namesake-of-arlo-guthries-alices-restaurant/ Nearly 2,000 people pitched in over the last two months to a GoFundMe for the 80-year-old hippie, who’s been hit by hard times since the 1967 release of Guthrie’s 18-minute talking blues ballad. “It’s been tremendous. God, what a relief,” Brock told The Post on Thursday about the outpouring of support. The Brooklyn-born woman’s home and former diner in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, were the setting of Guthrie’s song about how the singer’s 1965 Thanksgiving Day arrest for littering kept him out of the Army during the Vietnam War.

I can't find the exact quote, but the late, great Tony Gwynn - one of the absolute best hitters in the history of Major League Baseball - was once asked about coming into every season overweight (he always was). His response was something to the effect, "I don't see too many skinny guys doing what I do."

Are you going to watch Saved by the Bell reboot?

Grizzly Adams is gay?????????????????? -
The majority of his fights were not that quick. And back then, there were high quality undercard fights, so boxing fans still got their money's worth.

I hear you. I was an avid boxing fan in my youth (late 70s - 80s) and remained a big fan through the early 90s. Wasn't long before I let myself realized it was a rigged sport and I stopped watching it to this day. But man ... Tyson and Jones were two of the last fighters I loved to watch. I might splurge.
