  1. Admittedly, I watch VERY little college football. But where does the Fields love come from? https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/justin-fields-2.html Jake Fromm had better stats than that in college.
  2. I agree that there is a natural impact. Every SB winning team - and most teams that go deep into the playoffs - face it every season. McDermott simply didn't do well managing it. Andy Reid did.
  3. If Daboll had a crappy day at the office for the AFCCG and it was because he was distracted by the interview process, then that's on McDermott, too. They went out there and got their asses kicked in embarrassing fashion and they're going to add insult to injury by making excuses via this proposed rule change. The coaching sucked. Own it and get better.
  4. No matter where we sit on the political spectrum, I think it's universally known that the biggest example of government waste is the ACOE. I can't believe our taxes fund that crap.
  5. Mouse eats decon. Mouse makes his way to the Batten Kill, where he ends up dying in the water. Rat poison pollutes an otherwise clean body of water. @BringBackFergy and Son go trout fishing in said body of water. Sadly, we know how this one ends. You are an evil man and have no right defending our waterways.
  6. While I can understand how many feel this way about him, I've never had a problem with Brady and actually think he's a pretty funny dude.
  7. It's a fun read. Brady discusses the boat parade and being lit. If you read to the very end, it'll be worth it when you see the slam. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30993399/tom-brady-talks-tampa-bay-buccaneers-super-bowl-boat-parade-late-night-tv
  8. Shirley, you can't think that a) Watt isn't on steroids and b) Watt is actually tested.
  9. I do believe it. He's had poser and fraud written all over him from day one. Of the Flutie and Tebow ilk ... except Watt is actually good at football.
  10. Before your mom passed, did you let her know that was Kenny Rogers, and not Barry Gibbs, singing with Dolly?
  11. It was a sad, sickening, horrifying day. The entire (interested) world watched/listened to it unfold as it happened. Heavy, to say the least. He was always one of my favorites. RIP.
  12. The data tells a clear story. They know nothing but love unless they're raised to kill.
  13. Generally speaking, I think people tend to give OCs too much credit when a QB has a great season. Did Allen have a breakout year because of Daboll or despite him? Still too many head-scratcher play calls/game plans. I'm not in the "fire Daboll," camp, but his career is what his career is. The Bills' offense was awesome last year primarily because Josh Allen was awesome; not because Daboll is a great OC.
  14. So move to a country in a normal time zone if you don't like it!!
  15. Yeah, I'm 50. In my 30s and 40s, my mom shared some things about my family's past that very few people know; not even my siblings. I learned that neither of my grandfathers was my biological grandfather. So I've got two extended families about whom I know absolutely nothing. I don't want any more surprises, LOL. I'm good.
  16. My sister has gone to them and her experiences have been the same as you describe. I've never gone and never will. IF I were to change my mind, I'd go to the one my sister has been to because she (as you stated above) was spot on and very specific. I have no desire to go because I don't want to know what I don't know about my past and I have no interest in knowing what the future holds. Honestly, both scare the ever livingshit out of me.
  17. Man, did I have a crush on her as a kid (Hart to Hart era).
  18. What are these limitations? How do we know he has them when he's being used as a receiver so infrequently? And the notion of inflated stats is one that I don't buy. Singletary averaged over 5 YPC in his rookie year, but for some reason, they held him to a pitch count and abandoned the run game when it was successful (including in the playoff loss to Houston). Too many people are criticizing these guys for things that are completely out of their control.
  19. He caught 78% of the passes intended for him. And you're calling him out because Allen threw accurate passes to him?? Common man. I don't know how one can consider 4/18 to be a bunch of drops. I don't understand the criticism that Moss and Singletary get. They both averaged over 4 YPC. Our O line and play-calling need to be criticized and improved before we can lay blame on the running backs, in my opinion.
  20. He had 14 receptions on 18 targets.
  21. He is handling his exit from Baltimore with grace, professionalism and diplomacy. I hope someone gives him a chance. Responding to a fan's comment that he should've been given a better opportunity, Bryant wrote: "It's hard. I've been off almost three years. I flashed my abilities to the point [Ravens coach John] Harbaugh asked was I ready to play because he thought I was ready ...You have to learn the playbook ... chemistry with the QB have to be on point." Asked whether his chemistry was off with quarterback Lamar Jackson, Bryant wrote: "Our chemistry was good on and off the field. But it was guys there before me who understood the offensive concepts better than me. You can't jeopardize that." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30953444/dez-bryant-plans-play-two-more-years-with-ravens-six-game-stint-baltimore
  22. Man, I hope nobody photoshops this.
  23. This is why, as a rule, I keep my posts serious. It's the only thing that assures me that I'll never be misunderstood.
  24. I think 27Yanks was Robert Kraft's nickname at the nail salon.
