MMA fighter Khetag Pliev had to have a finger surgically reattached after it was severed during the second round of a fight Thursday night in Philadelphia. That's exactly what they were talking about this morning. Deciding whether to a) rest certain individual players for certain games, or b) rest all of your starters for a game against a crappy team. They even specifically said something like "teams would have to be smart, it's not like you're gonna rest your starters going into Kansas City or Buffalo."

I liked that McDermott thought he was gonna get called out for not calling McKittrick back. First words out of his mouth were apologizing that he didn't pick up the last time McK called. Great stuff.

Got my 2nd Pfizer jab yesterday at precisely 1:10pm. I wanted to wait till at least 24 hours later to post an update. I'm happy - and very surprised - to report that I have encountered ZERO side effects. I don't count a sore arm, because that happens with any shot. This soreness is equal to the soreness of shot one, which was minimal. I hope everyone getting vaxxed has the same luck I did. Peace!
