  1. Yes, but the Chiefs faced a much better opponent and his son had just been in (caused) that horrible accident. The better team won the AFCCG and the better team won the Super Bowl.
  2. When a serial rapist gets a slap on the wrist like this, I find it to be in poor taste to joke about it. But you do you.
  3. Thanks, Gunner. I'll end with this: Thank GOD we have our QB.
  4. I'm not saying Fromm is better than Fields. I'm saying this is like an EJ vs. Tyrod comparison? Was Tyrod better than EJ? Yes. Does that mean Tyrod was very good? Nope. Nothing I've seen, nor heard about, Fields tells me that he's a sure thing at the next level. Therefore, I don't know why any team would pick him in the first round.
  5. Wouldn't we be better off getting a better tackle?
  6. Fields had one ridiculous (fluke?) season bookended by two abbreviated okay seasons. Fromm had 3 consistently decent/complete seasons.
  7. Where would Cody Ford go?
  8. After eating the DECON, it takes rodents 4-5 days to die. They don't just stay where they ate it.
  9. Admittedly, I watch VERY little college football. But where does the Fields love come from? https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/justin-fields-2.html Jake Fromm had better stats than that in college.
  10. I agree that there is a natural impact. Every SB winning team - and most teams that go deep into the playoffs - face it every season. McDermott simply didn't do well managing it. Andy Reid did.
  11. If Daboll had a crappy day at the office for the AFCCG and it was because he was distracted by the interview process, then that's on McDermott, too. They went out there and got their asses kicked in embarrassing fashion and they're going to add insult to injury by making excuses via this proposed rule change. The coaching sucked. Own it and get better.
  12. No matter where we sit on the political spectrum, I think it's universally known that the biggest example of government waste is the ACOE. I can't believe our taxes fund that crap.
  13. Mouse eats decon. Mouse makes his way to the Batten Kill, where he ends up dying in the water. Rat poison pollutes an otherwise clean body of water. @BringBackFergy and Son go trout fishing in said body of water. Sadly, we know how this one ends. You are an evil man and have no right defending our waterways.
  14. While I can understand how many feel this way about him, I've never had a problem with Brady and actually think he's a pretty funny dude.
  15. It's a fun read. Brady discusses the boat parade and being lit. If you read to the very end, it'll be worth it when you see the slam. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30993399/tom-brady-talks-tampa-bay-buccaneers-super-bowl-boat-parade-late-night-tv
  16. Shirley, you can't think that a) Watt isn't on steroids and b) Watt is actually tested.
  17. I do believe it. He's had poser and fraud written all over him from day one. Of the Flutie and Tebow ilk ... except Watt is actually good at football.
  18. Before your mom passed, did you let her know that was Kenny Rogers, and not Barry Gibbs, singing with Dolly?
  19. It was a sad, sickening, horrifying day. The entire (interested) world watched/listened to it unfold as it happened. Heavy, to say the least. He was always one of my favorites. RIP.
  20. The data tells a clear story. They know nothing but love unless they're raised to kill.
  21. Generally speaking, I think people tend to give OCs too much credit when a QB has a great season. Did Allen have a breakout year because of Daboll or despite him? Still too many head-scratcher play calls/game plans. I'm not in the "fire Daboll," camp, but his career is what his career is. The Bills' offense was awesome last year primarily because Josh Allen was awesome; not because Daboll is a great OC.
  22. So move to a country in a normal time zone if you don't like it!!
  23. Yeah, I'm 50. In my 30s and 40s, my mom shared some things about my family's past that very few people know; not even my siblings. I learned that neither of my grandfathers was my biological grandfather. So I've got two extended families about whom I know absolutely nothing. I don't want any more surprises, LOL. I'm good.
  24. My sister has gone to them and her experiences have been the same as you describe. I've never gone and never will. IF I were to change my mind, I'd go to the one my sister has been to because she (as you stated above) was spot on and very specific. I have no desire to go because I don't want to know what I don't know about my past and I have no interest in knowing what the future holds. Honestly, both scare the ever livingshit out of me.
