  1. My parents (81 and 76) got their second Pfizer shots yesterday. I called my mom last night, as I do most nights, and they did not answer. Called again, called their cell ... no answer. I was just about to hop in the car and go to their house to make sure they were alright. Then my dad called and said they were already in bed. Felt a little under the weather and very tired. I told them that Lil Gug and I would stop and see them this afternoon. Just got a text from my dad telling me that they were not home ... they are at the casino, LOL. So I guess I can safely assume they woke up feeling better!! Lil Gug got the J&J yesterday and felt fine. He's still sleeping and I'm not gonna wake him up. We'll see how he's feeling when he wakes up, but last night he was 100% and said his arm didn't even hurt. Fingers crossed he wakes up feeling just as good. EDIT: He woke up feeling fine. Arm is just a little sore, but that's it. Phew! Here's to hoping everyone can have the same experience!
  2. Yeah, she was replaced for a while and Billy Sr., was doing the TV ads with the younger, blonder girl. Caroline came back less than a year ago. Tom Parks is still gone. Caroline is doing ads with some pro wrestler, Titus O'Neil.
  3. I'm pretty sure that's Tim Tebow in drag.
  4. LMAO! Haven't seen him on any TV commercials. They just brought Caroline back for those. Billy Jr., does a TON of radio ads.
  5. His son took over all of the stores in the Capital District.
  6. And why not just call it Patriots Weekend? Massholes.
  7. I choose to see Alice.
  8. Zero ads for me.
  9. He actually got a lot better AFTER that happened. Just in another uniform.
  10. It will be interesting to see if any/all change their minds after this experience. Hope they all make it through it okay.
  11. Where are you located?
  12. My 18-year-old son is getting the J&J jab later this afternoon. Got an email from his school last night about a vax clinic being set for today for anyone 18+. Asked Lil Gug if he wanted to get it, he shrugged and said, "okay." Less than 10 minutes away from our house, too. I'm hoping he doesn't have a ton of side effects because he's on vacation this week and I'm taking the rest of the week off after today. It's just the two of us (you're welcome for the earworm), so we'll have a fully-vaxxed household. Woo hoo!
  13. Been a Marshawn Lynch fan from day one and never stopped.
  14. This was going to be my pick, too. Close second: Beating the Pats* 34-31 in 2011.
  15. The first shot (Pfizer) made me fatigued the following day. The second shot did absolutely nothing to me. I've heard everything from zero side effects to flu-like symptoms (body aches, chills, etc.). I think it's best to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Good luck!
  16. Last World Series appearance 2015. Yanks?
  17. Very well said. It's really about the complete package. Real life example - I saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd for the first time as part of the Experience Hendrix tour. He absolutely killed it. I walked away thinking that this kid was the next SRV. Fast forward a handful of years, I saw KWS headlining. Phenomenal guitar playing, but his songs sucked. I mean BAD. The only time the crowd went nuts was when he played Hendrix or SRV covers. Dylan (and for that matter, Hendrix) did not have great singing voices, but the total package (delivery, lyrics, musical ability, etc.) made them great. And I love me some G-n-R, but I can't stomach their version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door. It is terrible. (Although, I love their version of Live and Let Die)
  18. If Cody Ford is the key to the offense improving, we're in a lot of ***** trouble.
  19. An Open Letter to All Genuine Mets Fans: This thread was created by a SF Giants fan. The Original Poster created this thread to MOCK the Mets ... not to celebrate them. I'm calling on all true Mets fans to discuss anything BUT the Mets in this thread. #LFGM Love, Gugny
  20. I kind of think this makes Evander Holyfield a sissy for jumping up and down and crying like a baby after Tyson took a little nibble on his ear.
  21. MMA fighter Khetag Pliev had to have a finger surgically reattached after it was severed during the second round of a fight Thursday night in Philadelphia. The fight, which was part of an event put on by Cage Fury Fighting Championship and aired on UFC Fight Pass, was stopped when the referee noticed Pliev was missing his left ring finger. https://www.espn.com/mma/story/_/id/31180731/khetag-pliev-suffers-severed-finger-match-undergoes-emergency-surgery
  22. My sincere condolences to you and yours. I'm sure Penny got as much out of your time together as you did. You gave each other happiness, loyalty, friendship and love. Hopefully knowing that she lived a great life can somehow help you through this difficult time. Be well.
