  1. The team is loaded with positives, I agree. Lindor is a stud. Definitely a slow start, but he'll turn it up. It's a long season and I still have high hopes.
  2. My biggest takeaway from this photo: Beane and McDermott have the same exact shoes in Blue and Red. GHEY.
  3. I feel really good about Cohen, long-term. I want him to (and think he will) open up that checkbook of his and get Theo Epstein into the organization. That's the big splash the Mets need.
  4. McCann's passed ball infuriated me. No excuse. Alonso's season last year could easily have been a fluke. He really sucks so far this year. Conforto had sand in his kitty over not getting a contract extension before the season. Now we see why the Mets made the right non-move. He is the worst hitter on the team. He gets schooled every ***** night. It's classic Mets. When they pitch well, they don't score any runs; when the bats come alive, the bullpen blows games. It's pretty much torturous.
  5. This makes me want Cake to do this song.
  6. If Bill Belichick has proven anything, it's that he's a phenomenal talent evaluator and drafter. Mac Jones is going to be a superstar.
  7. Exactly, Nooch! This prick just won't go away. He's a novelty/carnival act who will do anything for money and attention. I wish he would ***** disappear.
  8. I'm gonna guess coyote. @CountryCletus????
  9. He was only accurate because there were no fans in the stands.
  10. I sometimes have difficulty in making decisions. It might help if someone creates a thread to get some ideas from the masses.
  11. Hey, Fergs! Has Zakkurts been traded yet?
  12. I'm interested to know why you think this. What do you know about his spending habits/monetary responsibility that leads you to make this prediction?
  13. I paid for the Tyson-Holyfield fight and Jake Paul was on one of the undercards. It was an entertaining night of boxing and I had fun watching it. No boohooing, here. I paid to be entertained and I was entertained. I think it's absurd to pay four figures for one ticket to any event, let alone a sporting event ... including to see the Bills in a playoff game. That doesn't mean I think people who choose to purchase those tickets are chumps. It means that those people determined that it was worth the investment. Stop being a judgy judgerton.
  14. I'm sure you spend money on something that would cause someone to call you a chump, too. To each his own. The, "I don't care about this SO MUCH that I'm going to invest time and energy into letting everyone KNOW that I don't care," crowd is the best.
  15. This is all spot on. And I can confirm that Mohawk Honda has a no haggle policy. Their price is their price.
  16. It'd be nice if he got a shaving cream endorsement like David Robinson and Tim Duncan did back in the day. Then he'd have to shave that ridiculous ***** facial hair.
  17. Best of luck, Sen.
  18. I'm not too much into mock drafts, but if I had to pick one, I think it would be BringBackFergy's Colossal Board/Mock Draft. He always seems to get more right than the "experts." Looking forward to seeing his on 4/30!! @BringBackFergy
  19. I believe it and, in fairness, I've not listened to much of them. But after any/all that I have heard, they're batting .000 with me. No biggie. But I do agree ... gotta give a show. This is why I don't knock Nickelback. Would I ever pop a Nickelback album on? Nope. Not my thing. But I did see them in concert and man, they were entertaining as hell!! And they absolutely have talent, too. I'd pay to see them again in a heartbeat. They were that fun to watch.
  20. You and I have very similar music tastes. I was shocked to see you list BNL. If I had to name my least favorite band of all time, my knee jerk response would be BNL. Not saying that to bash you for liking them; just pointing out that even though people can like a lot of the same music, there will always be outliers! (one of many things that makes music awesome)
  21. I was really worried about the finger picks, too - but mostly because I'm a wuss and hate needles. But I use something like this ... https://www.totaldiabetessupply.com/products/freestyle-lancing-device-ii?gclid=Cj0KCQjw4ImEBhDFARIsAGOTMj-PhPhETzWP3tJ5Zv6lwyCr5rgI7oLLs7xX2_ieY86kHRvoi37tff4aAnbCEALw_wcB ... and get the thinnest-gauge lancet possible - and I feel absolutely nothing (during or after). You can actually adjust the depth that the lancet will go into your finger. When I was checking my levels multiple times daily, I'd just switch up fingers and parts of the fingertips and it was like nothing ever happened.
  22. Nature really is a miracle. Love to see them in their natural habitat.
