You guys are right. I'm taking her in a couple weeks.

I used to lease and loved it. Life changes and now I've got a 120 mile/day commute, so no more leasing. I just paid off a new car for the first time in my life and am financing another one, now. That does feel good to have equity. But I did enjoy the peace of mind with the warranty of a lease and miss that. Now, my warranty is up in just a bit over a year because I put ~33,000 miles/year on my car.

Possibly. I found one that fits the bill. New boat in Springfield, Mass. So I'm going to drive an hour and 40 minutes this weekend to check it out. It's nearly identical to this. The one I'm looking at has a 40HP Suzuki.

Maybe it's just me, but I always thought when users create threads then abandon them, it's vacation time.

Hey, Virg!

Stay put, move up or move down? Not what SHOULD they do. What WILL they do?

Yes, I always respected the Yankees until they signed A-Rod. The organization really took a downward turn once George was out of the picture. It was sad to watch unravel. Now, they're a pathetic organization. I know they still make a lot of money and they still do well, but the organization is no longer universally respected. I hate mega deals. Despise them. But it's just part of the game now for the big market teams who can afford to pay the luxury tax. At least Lindor is solid defensively and offensively and has durability. As you mentioned, neither Judge nor Stanton can say those things. Alonso has been disappointing in this young season. They're only 13 games in, so I'm hopeful that he'll warm up. Last night's defense between him and JD Davis was horrible. Conforto needs to show some consistency. I'm sure it pissed him off that they gave Lindor a billion dollars and didn't give him the extension he was looking for. But let's face it, we've been waiting for "Conforto to be Conforto," for years. He's Mr. Potential until he can put a solid season together.

I was referring to the owners; not the salesmen. But I definitely wasn't clear. My point is similar to what I think yours is. Do your homework. Be prepared. Know several places' prices. And - like you said - if they don't give you what you want for the $$$ you're willing to spend, just walk away.

Guac is good on anything, IMO. But straight up avocado? It's like eating caulk.

NFL's top 25 players not in the Hall of Fame: #24 Steve Tasker
Gugny replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My unpopular opinion is that Tasker does not belong in the HOF. -
Rodgers was HORRIBLE. But if you ask him .... "I know they didn't expect what I was about to bring, but I was just so prepared," Rodgers said. "I was so ready. So we get into the first game, the first run-through, there's 30 questions in a Jeopardy round, and after the first 15 questions, we go to break. They say it in your earpiece, 'Take it to break.' So I take it to break, and there was a pause, and I think everyone was like, 'Whoa, OK, this guy kind of knows what he's doing here.' Such a dick. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31183282/what-film-room-aaron-rodgers-studied-no-other-crush-jeopardy-guest-host

$6.70 for that puppy and I'd pay it in a heartbeat. That looks effin' amazing!

You see deGrom yesterday? Struck out 9 in a row, which is one shy of the all-time record (Tom Seaver). Total of 14 strikeouts for the second straight start. And he even got the win!

Are you reelin' in the years? Stowin' away the time Are you gatherin' up the tears? Have you had enough of mine

Yes, indeed. AND the work ethic/drive.

This is a great point. Good chances are the salesman needs to sell a car more than you need to buy one.

You're not going to get away from doc fees. And if you find a place that has little-to-no doc fees, they're getting it from you in some other clever way. Car dealers, new and used, are among the scummiest people on earth. The onus is on the consumer to do the homework. If you're buying new, the price is going to be the same wherever you go. Decide the make/model you want. Test drive it at the nearest dealership to make sure you want it. Call the dealership you want to work with. Give him your information over the phone so he can run your credit, etc. Go in an pick up your car in the next day or two. That will have you in the dealership for less than an hour.
