  1. I would consider using the 38th overall pick on an inconsistent guard as an over-draft.
  2. I feel like I utter that exact phrase at least 14 times per day.
  3. I wish I knew when they're going to be on, because I've always been a fan of the Manning Bros. (as funny guys). But once again, ESPN has put people in the booth that force me to mute the TV. After 2 minutes, I ask myself, "why is Steve Levy yelling at me?!?!" The guy never stops yelling. It's how he talks. I just can't stand it. Is he Booger bad? Probably not. But still bad enough for me not to listen. And I'm not glued to the TV for these games, so I wish there was some sort of a schedule to know when the Mannings are on.
  4. I think it's safe to say at this point that Ford was over-drafted.
  5. Considering the fact that after Ken Stabler, the next Alabama QB to become a starter in the NFL was AJ McCarron ... I think the sample size is ample.
  6. This isn't much scarier than when Jacksonville brought Tebow in.
  7. From the shoutbox: "... next store neighbor ..."
  8. This reminded me of when the ref threw the flag into Orlando Brown's eye. Whilst looking for video, I learned that Brown died back in 2011 from diabetes complications. I had no idea he died!!
  9. If Mike Glennon and Merton Hanks had a son ... this would be him.
  10. Knock it off.
  11. I'm not a big basketball guy, but I do remember listening to Doris Burke as a frequent guest on "Mike and Mike in the Morning." It seemed clear to me that she was super knowledgeable about basketball, but as a guest on that show - she bored me to tears. Something about her voice and just overall lack of enthusiasm made me want to change the channel. That said, I have seen Kirk Herbstreit many times on TV and thought he's great. But as a Mike and Mike guest - he, too, put me to sleep. He was consistently horrible. I guess some people are more suited for TV than radio and vice versa.
  12. I don't believe you.
  13. Josh has massive hands And we all know what that means He wears massive gloves?
  14. Don't ever talk to me again.
  15. I was even rooting for him when he was on the Jets (because I knew they weren't a threat). I felt bad for him the day the Jets drafted him. I am VERY happy to see him help lead his team to a (3-0) start. One of our local DJs opined that had Darnold played for the Jets for ten years, he probably never would have won three games in a row. He said it jokingly, but then realized it was probably accurate ... and I agree. Go Sam!!!
  16. Yes, because only poor people drink and get unruly. Brilliant.
  17. It shouldn't throw this thread into a spiral. It's a fact. As @K-9 mentioned above - "Over the last generation, the middle class has slowly been priced out of attending sporting events on an increasing basis."
  18. No. I don't. But what about middle class and upper middle class people (aka - the ones you left out of your question)? Many of THOSE people are the ones buying season tickets.
  19. The thought of paying an organization just for the ability to pay the same organization for a product disgusts me. How this became acceptable to fans completely blows my mind. It's nothing I would ever do; that's for sure.
  20. The "people don't like her because she's a female," narrative is lazy and weak. She is a woman who sucks at her job. Key words, "sucks at her job." (not "woman") Everyone on the PLANET thought Jason Witten sucked in the booth. Why? Because he sucked. I don't recall anyone saying, "you just don't like him because he's a man!" It's pure crap. She's horrible, period.
  21. HFBD, Annie!
  22. Her. She was a her. Not an it.
  23. Loved Shady as a Bill. Arguably one of the most lopsided trades in NFL history.
  24. How is this relevant?
