  1. I'm pretty sure that if the first game played is a 1pm start in Pacific Time and the second game is a Monday night 8:30pm start in Eastern time, then the player IS eligible to play due to the hours passed between games. That's why Ertz was ineligible to play ... because not enough hours had passed between games. https://nflpaweb.blob.core.windows.net/website/PDFs/CBA/March-15-2020-NFL-NFLPA-Collective-Bargaining-Agreement-Final-Executed-Copy.pdf
  2. How sad! RIP.
  3. I don't think you statement/question is ignorant at all. It's totally inexcusable and 100% avoidable.
  4. Here we go with the, "well, they beat KC .. BUT ... blah, blah, blah," crap. Stifle it.
  5. My point is that even if there are criminal charges, it won't matter. An interested team just needs to know when he'll be eligible to play again. We all know the NFL "punishes," marquee players minimally - especially when it comes to crimes against women. If the resolution is that he is suspended for the remainder of the year, then what would a team like Miami care? The only potential suitors it might scare away are teams who think they're in "win now," mode.
  6. I don't even think it needs to be a positive resolution .. just some sort of clarity/defined closure so an interested team can plan accordingly.
  7. I will always feel bad for any QB drafted by the Jets. It's like a young baseball player being drafted by the Orioles. Sad.
  8. Meh. I can't even eat lunch in my office without people interrupting me. They can deal with it.
  9. He's only got 50 fewer receiving yards than Diggs for the season. I'd say he's been a welcome addition to the team.
  10. I bring my son to play at a local blues jam on occasion. There is a bassist who is usually there. He's got a 1971 Fender Jazz that he bought new in 1971 and has had ever since. It's more of a blonde/natural finish, but I love the 50 years of natural wear and it sounds delightful.
  11. @mragsshould stay!
  12. I don't put that on Beane. He was on pace for a 1000 yard season when he came to the Bills. Then he got Tuh-ROD'd. There was no indication that Benjamin would immediately turn into a lazy bum in his only full year with the Bills.
  13. I can count on Jason Pierre-Paul's hand how many Super Bowl halftime performances I've actually sat down to watch over the past 30 years. But my guess is that every person who feels like I do (and you do, apparently) about them, there are probably 10 who love them. I'm sure the Nielsen viewership data supports it, otherwise they wouldn't bother having them. I've gotten myself into a pretty standard Super Bowl routine that includes being in the kitchen for the entire halftime break, so I couldn't care less what they do.
  14. Nate Peterman and Aaron Maybin were starters.
  15. You're not alone. It felt like all of Brown's 57 second half receptions were on 3rd downs to me.
  16. Man, he's got big hands ... and feet ...
  17. Meanwhile, Dawson Knox is leading the NFL in TDs by a Tight End and enjoying a 75% catch rate.
  18. I've not made any argument. I opened a topic for discussion (go figure, on a message board).
  19. Welcome to the board, Mr. Brady.
  20. This seems very unnecessary to me. But if it makes you feel better, you do you.

    Hey Yolo

As long as it's not one of those God-forsaken uniform reveal videos!!
  22. Thanks, fellas. I've made the proper edit.
  23. "Dawson Knox had successful surgery yesterday, source said, with the goal of returning to the field as soon as possible." Boy ... Ian really went out on a limb, there!
  24. Was this when Whaley was a lame duck?
