That's not entirely true. Yankees are still in the top 2-3 every year. I agree that more teams are much closer to the Yankees; but most are still not. Yeah, Judge and Stanton both ended up having very nice seasons with regard to hitting for average AND power. I was skeptical of the Gallo acquisition when it happened because I think they'd have been better off with more of a contact hitter. Hard to put all the blame on Gallo. I've politely asked someone to watch his mouth because there were children in proximity. I figured I would be told to go eff myself, but I actually think he appreciated the nudge and simply gave me a nod. If there are no kids around, I'll swear, as in - "you've got to be fu*king kidding me!!" But I wouldn't scream any vulgarities toward the field (as if the intended target would hear it. If there are kids around, I try to keep any/all swearing at bay.
