  1. Can't stop the pass? By far the best pass defense in the NFL. 1st in total yards; 1st in yards/game; 1st in yards/attempt; 1st in completion % against; 2nd in INTs. Yeah, Chris and Mike ... Bills pass defense really sucks.
  2. Perhaps that's why Thurman never hoisted a Lombardi Trophy. Let them have fun on the field instead of having too much fun off the field. It's a game.
  3. Welcome to the board, Leodis!!
  4. Have you considered the patch? You can get free ones through NYS Quits. I used them to successfully quit for three years. Used the patches for about a month, then I was done. Unfortunately, after three years, I began smoking again and am still trying to quit. I have patches, but I'm still working on getting there, mentally - which is important. I have begun trying to not smoke at normal trigger times ... specifically in my car. That's gone very well (I have a one hour commute each way for work). I was smoking 3-4 cigarettes each way. Now that's down to zero. You DO got this. And I got this. And everyone who is struggling to quit has got this. Best of luck to you, brother.
  5. Who's the Richard Head who started a Mahomes thread during Patriots* week???
  6. LMFAO! Then he would remind everyone that he only bangs 10s and that he was a stud football player in college.
  7. Baby Mmm baby 'M gonna bring it on home to you I've got my ticket, I've got that load Gone up, go higher, all aboard 'M take my seat, a-right way back, ooooh yeah Watch this train goin' down the track Gonna bring it on home Bring it on home to you
  8. I had a bottle of booze erroneously delivered to my place of work. I found the intended recipient's name and cell number on the receipt. Long story short, it was Donald Fagen's (Steely Dan) wife, Libby. I spoke to her for quite a bit; she is a sweetheart. Then Donald got on the phone to give me his Fed Ex account number so I could ship the booze to their place in NYC (they were near Woodstock, NY when I called ... staying at Bob Dylan's house). She asked me to text her my name and address so she could send me a bottle of "Bob's whiskey," as a thank you for my honesty and "moral high ground." A little time went by and she sent me a text out of the blue, saying she hadn't forgotten about me and they were "looking for the perfect bottle." She never sent me anything, which bums me out. But it was still a neat day and experience.
  9. I think our only hope now is that the Army Corps of Engineers heads to Orchard Park STAT and builds a dome before Monday night. Then we just need the Pegulas to close it off to the public. Then and only then ... we relax. @ExiledInIllinois @BringBackFergy @Beerball
  10. Built how? He is horrible in bad weather.
  11. Have you seen Josh Allen play in bad weather?
  12. Nice feel good story that'll brighten most people's day (there's just no hope for some). Teammates from a Michigan high school football team started a group text. One of them fat-fingered a number to be added and it turned out to be Sean Murphy-Bunting's number. Instead of being a dick, he and some of his Bucs teammates gave these kids a pretty cool experience. https://www.today.com/news/sports/high-school-team-accidentally-facetimed-tampa-bay-bucs-rcna7057?cid=sm_npd_td_fb_ma&fbclid=IwAR0TbhMVABWFQIjlOMXa34TtBHw0Swh2dHjRM_TFRQ8Mah5tFEl4y1EuiOc
  13. Pat Metheny Pat Smear
  14. Roses are red Violets are blue McCorkle is a stupid name ***** him and ***** the Patriots Amen
  15. The Marte signing was fantastic. And don't forget Eduardo Escobar, who is probably now the best 3B on the roster. Looks like Javy Baez is headed to Motor City. That puts McNeil back at 2B, which I like. I'd prefer to keep JD Davis around to play off the bench. I'd be very happy if the Mets can get a proven, consistent big bat to hit behind Alonso. Thank God the Conforto experiment is finally over. Thank GOD.
  16. The beauty/brilliance of the deal is that it's only three years. I think it's very likely that he'll be among the league's best for at least two of them.
  17. I really think it's this simple: Taking the touchback and starting at the 25 is the safe play. There's no risk of a fumble/turnover and no risk of getting tackled prior to reaching the 25 yard line. But you're also taking away any chance of getting better field position on a nice return. Like it or not, McKenzie is not prone to fumbling on KO returns. That is a verifiable fact. In 22 returns this season, McKenzie has had 14 that were 20+ yards, two that were 40+ and a long of 75 yards. He is one of five returners with two returns for 40+ yards; no one in the NFL has more than two of those. It's very low risk, very high reward and it makes sense to not just concede and take the touchback all the time. Any statistic you choose to read will confirm this.
  18. I'm not so sure it's necessary for you to add this disclaimer.
  19. It's become a very Metsy thing to do, too. But yes.
  20. I wouldn't say he's a dud. He's accurate, protects the ball and efficient ... doing what they've needed to win 6 in a row.
  21. You say Rolls, I say Royce You say God give me a choice You say Lord, I say Christ I don't believe in Peter Pan Frankenstein or Superman All I wanna do is Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle
  22. Yep. He'll be 38 in July, too. HOWEVER ... I'm good with it. Cohen has bottomless pockets and there's no cap, so what the hell, right?? Scherzer and a healthy deGrom in the same rotation sounds pretty nice. And even at his age, he's an upgrade over Syndergaard. #LFGM
  23. This poor kid just can't stay healthy. Fun to watch when he is. I feel bad for him.
  24. Coaching is definitely in the Patriots'* favor and it's not even in the same universe. My biggest fear is the Bills' coaching staff over-thinking/over-coaching and trying to get cute, rather than make a gameplan based on who we have, what we do well and which matchups we can exploit --- which is exactly what makes Bill Belichick the best.
  25. Too soon?
