Old fashioned churches had a structure at the top called a belfrey, which housed the church bells. When a church became abandoned and many years would pass without the bell being rung, bats would eventually inhabit the belfry. This was our annual Christmas Eve routine for decades. I also have 8 aunts and uncles and about 17,983 cousins. It's sad to see those traditions die when the grandparents do. One of my cousins and his wife have been having annual Christmas parties, but they're not the same. They also invite their friends and it just becomes a party for them and far less about family. I never go.

I've sat in the 300s for every game I've attended except one. In the 300s, it has been mostly standing for every game I've gone to. The one game for which I sat in the 200s, there was a LOT more sitting. I'm not sure if that's the norm, though. That was the Denver game in 2017 when it was in the high 90s and everyone was near death.

This is not terrible news!! I would like some rain, though. Bill Belichick clearly doesn't trust McCorkle to throw the ball unless it's a perfect weather day. The more predictable they can be, the better. Thanks for the updates, fellas!

I get your stance, I really do. I guess the bottom line for me is that I think we should expect better from an NFL HC - whether it's his full-time job, or he's filling in. And I think Brady had every right to go tell him to eff off. I'm glad neither was penalized, because I think this kind of stuff probably happens in every game; just not so openly/obviously (because most HCs are smarter and more professional). If a coach was doing what this clown was doing, and Josh Allen was on the other end of it, I'd be 100% in support of Josh telling the guy to go eff himself. And I still don't think it would get flagged. I hope not, anyway. I guess I just think this could have been avoided if the coach wasn't being a dick.

It is dry, for sure. My girlfriend won't eat veal (for the obvious reason). I wanted veal piccata SOOOO BAAAD when we went out. But out of respect for her, I didn't get it and went with the braciola. It was delicious, but yes ... I always expect it to be on the dry side.

After some google machine action, I do see the boiled egg in some recipes. I also see other kinds of meat (than flank steak) used, so using veal would definitely not be a crazy notion. It actually sounds delicious with veal and egg.

It's my understanding (and I could be wrong) that Brady was on that side of the field because that's where the INT took place. And Shannon Sharpe is a bona fide idiot.

Deciding to hand the ball off to a RB exactly zero times in an entire half of football in which you spot the best team in the NFL a three-score lead is embarrassing. I don't care if they almost came back. Spotting them that lead was inexcusable and TOTALLY avoidable. And the play-calling in OT made the Bills look a high school JV team. That final score was not a clear representation of the entire game.

So you're feeling good about a game that we lost in embarrassing fashion, but "so so," about a game in which we routed our opponent. That makes sense.
