Bills vs. Chiefs Divisional Round: Full Match Re-play
Gugny replied to HomeTeam's topic in The Stadium Wall
My thoughts: I don't wanna think about it anymore. -
OBJ won't even play again until 2023.

Dude's got more baby mommas than he has fingers!

He shouldn't even have to wait the five years. Hell .. he shouldn't even have to wait till he retires! Just put him in.

I feel horrible for the guy. An opioid addiction explains his erratic behavior and rapid decline. He's lucky to be alive.
-
I don't see the issue here.

I chalk it up to living life as a black man in a white world. Growing up on the mean streets of Aurora, CO and going to Yale .. only to claw his way to the top of the NFL coaching ranks after spending an entire 365 days as a coordinator .. gotta be rough. Don't hate the playa. Hate the game. Word.

Taiwan Jones on About The Game Pod (Squib related)
Gugny replied to essential's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've eased up on that and much is thanks to you. I was primarily complimentary of McD AND Daboll last season. I do, however, admit that I put a lot of onus on the coaching staff. -

How very badol of you to say. I stopped reading your novella after this sentence. Plus, I disagree. -

I agree with Dr. D. That was the single most important play of McDermott's career and the Bills' season. Goddamn right he should have taken it upon himself - as the LEADER of the team - to ensure everyone was on the same page. Yes - leaders need to rely on their directs to do their jobs. But there is a thing called, "trust, but verify," which many leaders employ when something is incredibly important. And McDermott should have employed it. This is a failure on multiple parts. But the biggest fault lies at the feet of Sean McDermott.- 152 replies

This band recently popped up in my facebook feed because they're coming to a venue in Albany, NY as part of their current tour. The Hu I figured they were some sort of Who tribute band, but nope. Mongolian heavy metal. The HU is a band from Mongolia that blends heavy metal and traditional Mongolian throat singing. The bandโs name The HU, is the Mongolian root word for human being. They call their style โHunnu Rockโโฆinspired by the Hunnu, an ancient Mongolian empire, known as The Huns in western culture. Some of the bandโs lyrics include old Mongolian war cries and poetry. https://www.thehuofficial.com/about-1

Looks like this is about to become a little more interesting. Saget family trying to block records re: his death. Some saying things aren't quite adding up due to the extent of the injuries. It's so sad that people can't actually RIP anymore. https://www.npr.org/2022/02/15/1081018419/bob-saget-family-lawsuit-records

Caesars Sportsbook 2022 NFL MVP Odds: Josh at 9-1
Gugny replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would have voted for Brady. Either way, Josh was not MVP material this year. -

How are you going to have Brian Flores coach three teams at the same time? -
Sadly true. If I had it my way, this money would go toward fighting the opioid epidemic and making it possible to pay social work professionals what they SHOULD make. That would really be nice if the lottery money actually went to education like it's supposed to. But, nah. NYS will keep making money off of peoples' vices and line the pockets of the elected crooks. Worst of times.

I wonder if @Chandler#81is going to post any pics from when they graduated high school together.

"After winning back-to-back MVP awards, Aaron Rodgers is a +700 betting co-favorite to win again at Caesars Sportsbook, even with such uncertainty surrounding where he will play. Four quarterbacks age 26 or younger join Rodgers among the top five favorites. Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes is the other +700 co-favorite, followed by Buffalo's Josh Allen (+900), Cincinnati's Joe Burrow (12-1) and Justin Herbert (14-1) of the Chargers." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33295090/quarterback-aaron-rodgers-odds-co-favorite-2022-nfl-mvp-uncertainty-where-play

Nope. The only time I became close to disinterested in football was during the Bills' Tyrod-era. Never before and certainly not after.

Kyler Murray unfollows Cardinals on social media
Gugny replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Perhaps the Cardinals' problem is that they hired a guy to be the HC who had literally ZERO qualifications. He was a failure at the collegiate level and had exactly 0 hours as a coach at any level in the NFL. But hey .. he looked good, right? I don't know if Kyler Murray will be a good NFL QB. But putting him on a team with an inept coach like Kilffy surely ain't doing him no favors. -
I'm wondering more if it's the effect of steroids on the brain.

I think this is awesome, and anyone poo poo'ing it can eff off.

This is why I am perfectly comfortable with my personal level of knowledge about football. I know enough about football to understand and enjoy it ... but not too much, where all I can do is point out why it sucks. I thought the playoffs were great. I thought the Super Bowl was very good ... especially the 2nd half. I never want to know so much about something that I forget how to enjoy it.
