No apology necessary! I have been a McDermott fan since day one and I still am. I'm also super-optimistic the Bills' chances for years to come (with Josh). Admittedly, I'm still stinging a little from that loss. But I still think McD is our guy and I'm certainly not calling for his (or anyone else's) head. I can't wait till we win a Lombardi and we can look back at last year's playoff loss and say, "if it wasn't for that game, we'd have at least TWO Lombardi Trophies!" GO BEELS!

I actually think the OT rules need to be changed. I just think it's a bad look for the Bills to present this rule change proposal after losing in OT. I know it happens every year with multiple teams regarding various rules; but I'm singling out the Bills. If feel about this, the same way I feel about teams b!tching about others running up the score. Stop the other team. Coach better. The loss to KC was avoidable in many ways. The fact that it even went to OT was pathetic. The fashion in which the Bills lost in OT was nothing short of embarrassing. Go ahead and propose rule changes. But no rule change is going to help the team win with the horrible coaching and execution we saw at the end of regulation and in OT. Learn to finish.

Fitz is one of my favorite NFL players of all time. That said ... nope. Too old. Too reckless. Too much of a liability. Sentiment and warm fuzzies aren't reasons you add someone to the roster.

I've had my lawnmower (basic troy bilt rear bag push mower) since 2008. The only thing I've ever done to it is add gas. If I go through 4 gallons of gas in a year, that's something. And it doesn't poop.

Part of me feels like I'm being impatient. The other part of me realizes that I've been a fan for over 30 years and this team has sucked for more than half of them. I couldn't even thoroughly enjoy the "end of the drought," because we backed into it and had no business being in the playoffs. I'm trying to be careful to not let myself get into a "I'm happy that they're one of the best," mode to the point of equating getting close with success. The road to the Lombardi Trophy will likely never be as easy as it was last year and McDermott f*cked it up. If he is the real deal and the Bills are among the best in the league, then anything short of at least GETTING to the Super Bowl should be considered as failure. Getting close can't be the goal anymore.

This just means that Brady is coming back for one more season and does not want to wear that hideous uniform.

I'm sure I'll calm down before next season.

I might still be stinging a little from the game, but I'd be perfectly fine if getting to the Super Bowl is a requirement for McDermott to keep his job. He really effed up, IMO.

$3.59 for one hot dog? Nah.

Here in the Queensbury/Glens Falls area, we have a couple locally legendary hot dog joints (Dog Shack and New Way Lunch, which has been around since 1919). They both cook their dogs on a griddle and the dogs are skinless. There are a couple great hot dog joints down near Albany and they, too, griddle their dogs. If one goes up north to the Plattsburgh/Malone areas, hot dogs seem to be steamed most places. Other than the places who serve Glazier's red hots (super snappy red skin), I think most places use skinless dogs because the focus is more on the Michigan sauce. I don't think I've ever been to any place who uses charcoal for anything, let alone dogs.

I infamously "hung onto" EJ for at least a year too long. I just could not give up on the kid. But yes ... he just sucked. I was very excited about the Rex Ryan hire. In fairness, that did NOT last long.

He pushed and nudged a girl with his foot? That's an odd observation. The Pegulas didn't own the team 30 years ago. Whatever Jim Kelly did on or off the field has literally nothing to do with the current Bills team/ownership. It is totally irrelevant.

You can educate us on how that's relevant.
