One would think that a database of all available players could be created and that a team could "eliminate" players they know they don't want, then go through a series of "if/then" scenarios. So if Bob Jones is who they want in the first round, and he gets snagged by another team before dropping to them, then the database would automatically tell them who their pick will be based on all of the previous picks and the "if/then" data they input previously. Maybe teams already do this; I don't know. But it seems like the logical way to go about it.

I actually had a bottle of champagne sitting on my counter, for Christ's sakes. BUT ... what no one likes to talk about is that the Red Sox had a lead in Game 7, too. That was OT in the Bills/KC game. And like the Red Sox, the Bills also pissed away ANOTHER chance to win the game. This loss had a lot to do with the last 13 seconds. But not everything. OT was an embarrassment.

I won't argue with you re: Josh running less. But I wouldn't say that I want that to change too much. The Bills amassed the 5th most yards in the NFL on offense and scored the 3rd most points. I'm not looking for a heck of a lot to change, there, to be honest.

So 4.6 yards per carry, even though among the league's best among RBs, isn't good enough? I honestly don't understand that logic. With that kind of average, it's clear to me that Singletary isn't a 1000 yard rusher because he doesn't get enough carries ... not because he's not a threat when he does get the ball.

Devin Singletary was 19th in the NFL for rushing attempts by a running back. Only four running backs ranked 1-18 in rushing attempts were better than Devin's 4.6 yards per carry. I'm not sure how much better people want the run game to be in Buffalo.
