  1. If Josh Allen is supposed to be one of the best QBs in the NFL, then why does he still need an extra tutor?
  2. I have always done whatever it took to avoid looking at setlists and any other kinds of spoilers. I never understood why people want to know. On that note, I am a strictly Waters-era Pink Floyd fan - including the Syd-era; so the Mason show sounds fantastic. I'm heavily leaning toward going. I saw Waters do the Wall at MSG back in 2010 and it was amazing. That said, I never cared for his solo stuff, so I'm skipping this year's tour. Seeing a show at Red Rocks is something I'd love to do someday.
  3. That surprises me. Years ago, I saw REO/Styx/Journey (in that order) and I thought REO was the best band of the night without question. This was before the little Filipino guy took over for Journey, so it's been a while.
  4. I had no idea about Matchbox 20 postponing their entire tour. That is odd to me. I would love to see them; Goo Goo Dolls would be good, too. I can't believe they have enough demand for SPAC. I'll wait till they hit the Palace in a few years. Same with Norah Jones. Of all the SPAC shows, I think the only one I can see myself going to is REO/Styx. These bands have priced me out.
  5. This is pretty much where I am. Individual artist and/or venue searches. Very difficult in the NYC area, because there are venues there that I don't even know about. There's a website for the city, but it lists every gig in the city - including just regular bar bands - and it takes FOREVER to navigate through.
  6. I'm really intrigued by the Nick Mason tour and I see he's playing in NYC (Beacon Theatre, which is a perfectly sized venue) in December. Looking forward to your review!!
  7. I loved T.O. in his year in Buffalo. Poor bastard had Trent and Fitz, yet STILL had over 800 yards. I was sad to see him go.
  8. Be still my beating heart It would be better to be cool It's not time to be open just yet A lesson once learned is so hard to forget
  9. So far, the only thing I've got tickets for is Joan Jett at the Albany Palace Theater in a couple weeks. Small venue (under 3K), orchestra seats, center stage. This is a Covid make-up show, so we've been waiting a while! A couple weeks ago, I took my son to see Korn (arena show (MVP in Albany) - same size as MSG). He enjoyed it; not my cup of tea. Lots of arena and stadium tours scheduled and it will be fun to share who's going to any upcoming shows; as well as get some reviews! Rock on!
  10. Very funny dude.
  11. This is a new one on me, too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_Controlled_Football Fan Controlled Football (FCF) is a professional indoor football league created in 2017 as the first sports league controlled by fans. All games are played at the Pullman Yards in Atlanta, Georgia and broadcast on Twitch, NBCLX, and Peacock. It was created by Project Fanchise, who established the first fan-controlled professional sports franchise, the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, and operated the Colorado Crush to play in the Indoor Football League in 2017 before Fanchise pulled both teams out of the league. Players are paid weekly minimum of $400 to $750 plus room and board, while coaches get paid $3,500 per month with housing and meal plan. FCF CEO Sohrob Farudi confirmed in March 2021 that the league planned to play two seasons a year, one in the spring and one in the fall,[5] and has plans to expand to 20 teams by year five.
  12. "Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick The one that makes me scream" she said "The one that makes me laugh" she said And threw her arms around my neck
  13. I honestly don't know, but the first color that came to mind was pink, so we can roll with that.
  14. I was scared sh!tless!!! I was only 16-years-old and this security guy was huge!
  15. Seeing a Bills jersey with the number 7 instantly ruins my mood.
  16. That is a bummer. I tried recording a concert once with a micro-cassette recorder. I don't even remember who it was, but it sounded like complete sh!t, so I never tried again.
  17. It was a camera similar to this. I snuck it in by sticking in my pants in the front of my crotch.
  18. It was 1987!!
  19. I got busted taking pictures at a Rush show in 1987 (RPI Fieldhouse in Troy, NY - under 5K capacity). Security dude nearly ripped my arm off and said, "gimme the f*cking film!!" So I ripped the film out of my camera, purposely destroying it, and handed it over. Prick.
  20. Gov't Mule was scheduled to play the Albany Palace next week. Looks like Warren Haynes broke his scapula whilst vacationing in Costa Rica and their tour has been postponed.
  21. According to this (I do not know how accurate it is, but it's a reliable source), he was only on one injury list. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2021_injuries.htm
