  1. So far, the only thing I've got tickets for is Joan Jett at the Albany Palace Theater in a couple weeks. Small venue (under 3K), orchestra seats, center stage. This is a Covid make-up show, so we've been waiting a while! A couple weeks ago, I took my son to see Korn (arena show (MVP in Albany) - same size as MSG). He enjoyed it; not my cup of tea. Lots of arena and stadium tours scheduled and it will be fun to share who's going to any upcoming shows; as well as get some reviews! Rock on!
  2. Very funny dude.
  3. This is a new one on me, too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_Controlled_Football Fan Controlled Football (FCF) is a professional indoor football league created in 2017 as the first sports league controlled by fans. All games are played at the Pullman Yards in Atlanta, Georgia and broadcast on Twitch, NBCLX, and Peacock. It was created by Project Fanchise, who established the first fan-controlled professional sports franchise, the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, and operated the Colorado Crush to play in the Indoor Football League in 2017 before Fanchise pulled both teams out of the league. Players are paid weekly minimum of $400 to $750 plus room and board, while coaches get paid $3,500 per month with housing and meal plan. FCF CEO Sohrob Farudi confirmed in March 2021 that the league planned to play two seasons a year, one in the spring and one in the fall,[5] and has plans to expand to 20 teams by year five.
  4. "Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick The one that makes me scream" she said "The one that makes me laugh" she said And threw her arms around my neck
  5. I honestly don't know, but the first color that came to mind was pink, so we can roll with that.
  6. I was scared sh!tless!!! I was only 16-years-old and this security guy was huge!
  7. Seeing a Bills jersey with the number 7 instantly ruins my mood.
  8. That is a bummer. I tried recording a concert once with a micro-cassette recorder. I don't even remember who it was, but it sounded like complete sh!t, so I never tried again.
  9. It was a camera similar to this. I snuck it in by sticking in my pants in the front of my crotch.
  10. It was 1987!!
  11. I got busted taking pictures at a Rush show in 1987 (RPI Fieldhouse in Troy, NY - under 5K capacity). Security dude nearly ripped my arm off and said, "gimme the f*cking film!!" So I ripped the film out of my camera, purposely destroying it, and handed it over. Prick.
  12. Gov't Mule was scheduled to play the Albany Palace next week. Looks like Warren Haynes broke his scapula whilst vacationing in Costa Rica and their tour has been postponed.
  13. According to this (I do not know how accurate it is, but it's a reliable source), he was only on one injury list. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2021_injuries.htm
  14. In my time of dying Want nobody to mourn All I want for you to do Is take my body home.
  15. Now, I'm lookin' to the sky to save me Lookin' for a sign of life Lookin' for somethin' to help me burn out bright And I'm lookin' for a complication Lookin' cause I'm tired of lyin' Make my way back home when I learn to fly high
  16. The small venue is just Joan Jett. The Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, Joan Jett tour is a stadium tour.
  17. We're going to see Joan Jett (who will be part of a Stadium Tour with Def Leppard and other bands) at the Albany Palace Theater. Seats about 2,800. We've got orchestra seats, center stage and I paid $200 total after fees for two tickets. WELL WORTH it to me.
  18. I'm 51. I became a Bills fan on the day of their Super Bowl vs. NYG. My interest in the team has never waned. The only time it came close was during the TuhROD Taylor era. That was the absolute worst for me, but I never stopped watching/rooting/going to games.
  19. This is what I prefer (not the rail, necessarily; but the venue size). I am tired of watching concerts on screens. And paying over $100 to do that is no longer something I'm interested in doing.
  20. Tour canceled: It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together. With Love, Foo Fighters
  21. Work is in my home office and my cat, Lazy, is usually the only one down here with me!
