  1. Honestly, who gives a rat's ass about your military experience? That means LITERALLY nothing.
  2. I'm 51 years old and know exactly zero people who've had their house broken into. I like my odds.
  3. Ah, here we go. This is always so cute. I don't watch the View. I don't watch CNN. I am not a Biden fan. I was not a Hillary fan. Now that THAT's out of the way ... If you need a semi-automatic weapon to HUNT, then you should either find another hobby or, perhaps, start hunting rabbits or something.
  4. If you need a semi-automatic weapon to shoot an effing boar, then you're not a very good hunter.
  5. My definition of a semi-automatic gun is one that does not need to be cocked between shots fired. I am not anti-gun and I am pro 2nd amendment. But it's antiquated. There is no reason for anyone to have semi-automatic weapons. Their only purpose is to kill people. We need less of that.
  6. There is literally ZERO need for any person to have semi-automatic weapons. Hunting? No. Home defense? No. They are made for one purpose ... killing people. Absolutely nothing good comes from them being available. Nothing. You want to feel macho? Go buy a big truck with big tires and one of those exhausts that runs up behind your windows.
  7. I will never stop believing that the O Line did not block for him in that SD game.
  8. Well ain't THAT a pisser!
  9. I think the difference between the Mets and Yankees is that the Mets have spent money stupidly (Cano) and the Yankees bought good players, only to let Girardi - who I consider to be a top-notch Manager - go, only to replace him with an unproven, unexperienced bean counter. To that note, the Mets have also made bad decisions with GM and Manager hires in recent years. I feel good about the current regime, but the annual injury bug has already been biting. I've always maintained that, had the Yankees retained Girardi, their WS drought would have ended the year(s) after his departure.
  10. And if you ask me, I will tell you that the Mets, too, have underachieved with they money they've spent over the years. Both teams have failed. Miserably.
  11. This will be my first time. The guys I'm going with (two brothers) have seen him multiple times and LOVE his shows. I'm really looking forward to it.
  12. Well, I'm not sure if Jeudy and his girlfriend have any kind of domestic violence past, so I can't speak to it. And further downstream, I agreed with Levi that he was likely arrested because the cops asked him to unlock the car/give her her stuff, but he refused. In which case - yes, I agree that an arrest would be warranted. But if he was asked to return the stuff and complied, I'd see no reason to arrest him.
  13. Added Alice Cooper to my list of upcoming shows. Seeing him at the Palace Theater (same place we saw Joan Jett - and my favorite venue. That's in Sept. I want to pull the trigger on the newly announced Smashing Pumpkins/Jane's Addiction tour ... but I've seen Jane's six times and I don't know if I want to see them at MSG for the crazy price tickets are going for. Plus, I think the concert is on a Wednesday and it would have to be a turn and burn, driving directly into/out of Manhattan. Makes for a long ass night. Everclear is doing a 30th Anniversary tour and they're coming to the Albany area in July. Frog Alley Brewing Co. Now THAT is my kind of venue. VIP seats are only $65/each after taxes and fees. Fastball is opening and the show starts at 6:30pm. My kinda show! I'll likely pull the trigger on those tix.
  14. We still took it in the pooper on that trade.
  15. I have good luck with TickPick. And the prices listed are the prices you pay, which I like.
  16. This is a countdown that many of us are excited to see begin every year and love every update.
  17. Levi is likely correct. Cops come ... ask Jeudy to stop being a prick and open the car door ... Jeudy says, "dafuq I will!!" ... into the back of the car he goes.
  18. What he did was a dick move, but I can't see how that results in an arrest.
  19. I see the OP conveniently left out Kaiir's cousin, Jason - who had a squeaky clean and very successful NFL career and has gone on to become a top-selling author. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Elam
  20. I think you're mistakenly believing that these players really give one ounce of a sh!t about the fans. I don't think most do. I do think they embrace the fanbase to an extent as active players. But not after they're done. I think Fitz is an exception. Just my opinion.
  21. I think it was Maryanne.
  22. Marv had a roster stacked with future Hall of Famers who won despite his coaching ineptitude. A better coach would have taken that team all the way AT LEAST two of those four years.
  23. And you can tell everybody ... this is your thong.
  24. I worked at the same place for nearly 19 years before I left and since then (2014), I've associated with/seen 5-6 former co-workers. My guess is that he viewed football as his job and once he retired, he put it in the rearview mirror.
