I used to rock a bushy, kinda lengthy, chin beard. When I first started growing it, it had a great black and white pattern to it. Eventually, it went all white, but I still kept it. Got rid of it about a year ago.

Here's one that just dawned on me and I don't recall seeing it anywhere in the thread: Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

I actually suffered through a traumatic event over the weekend. As I was messing around with one of my sprinkler heads, my girlfriend snapped a pic so she could post it to a group chat we're in with a couple friends and make a joke about a wet t-shirt show. I saw the pic and noticed that my hair was a hell of a lot more salt than pepa. I've never cared about going gray .. always happy to have a full head of hair. Well, then I zoomed in. I am thinning at the crown. I was like, "what the f*ck is this?!?! Am I going bald???" Her response: "I figured you knew!" How the hell am I supposed to see thinning back there? I don't live in a house full of ***** mirrors. Other than that tiny bit of thinning, I have a glorious head of hair, pal. AND I think I've got about 10 years on you, so you just wait. I'm having minor lawn issues, too - so you've really altered my Tuesday. Dick.

The Mets have played PHI, ARI, SF, ATL, COL and STL - all teams with 19 or more wins, a total of 33/43 games. Their other two opponents, SEA and WAS, have 14 and 17 wins, respectively. The Yankees have played BOS, TOR and CHI - all teams with 19 or more wins, a total of 19/41 games. Their other opponents (wins): BAL (17), DET (14), CLE (17), KC (14), TEX (18).

Mets have played some formidable opponents to begin the season and I'd rather have it that way. One really can't deny that playing almost 1/3 of your first 45 games against the same (sorry, Mike) horrible team kind of makes those 30 wins look a little less impressive. And I think it's a crappy way for a team like Baltimore to have to begin its season. It was nearly imminent that they'd be double-digit games back this early. I think it's poor scheduling.

I was just talking to @Mike in Horseheads(Orioles fan) about how it felt like the Yankees play the Orioles every week. After this current 3-game series, 29% of Baltimore's games will have been against the Yankees after 45 games. Yeah, those Yankees are a steam roller, alright.

Getting a pizza from Blasdell Pizza after getting back to the hotel from the game is an annual tradition for me. I love their pizza!

What's odd is that as I get older, the spicy stuff doesn't do anything to my body any more than it used to ... but I seem to have less tolerance for the heat as I'm eating it. I killed a dozen extra hots years ago with no problem. Fast forward a few years and I couldn't do it. Over the years, it's always been just a personal challenge. My first wings at Bar Bill were "hot." The waitress warned me that their mediums are like most places' hot. But I got the hot, anyway. The following year (I only go yearly), same waitress gave me the same warning, LOL. Went with hot again. That's when I decided to step it up each year. Did the extra hot the following year and got through the dozen, no problem .. but they WERE hot. Finally decided to do the Suicide wings when I was with Beerball, Fergs, Cletus and various family members. That's when I ate 7 (don't listen to Beerball). Stupidly, I got them again the next time we were all together and I was way outmatched. Those days are over for me. Now I'm just on a quest for a heat that gives a mild sweat with excellent flavor. Bar Bill hot wings achieve that perfectly.

Luckily, spicy foods don't have that effect on me! But man, let me tell you ... these sumsbitches was HOT. The only time I've been stopped short of a dozen. Great experience .. ne'er again. In fact, the following year, I got extra hot at Bar Bill and even THOSE were a bit too much. I've stuck with hot since, and will continue with hot moving forward!

I ate 7. I pawned the rest off on anyone who wanted to try them. My son lasted one bite. I think Fergy Jr., ate one. No one else tried any. This was also the night before the tailgate during which @BringBackFergytook a nappy poo in his truck.

I ate 7/12. Never again.
